Gosh my subscribed threads are quiet .... hmmm, I was just looking at a blog recommended by FW, and one post said, for those working from home, concentrate. Hmmm.

Well, I've just come back on after cleaning my old laptop .... however did it keep working? I got a toothbrush to the keyboard to brush away the dust, it actually got my allergies going a bit :o just given it a thorough swiping with those cleanwipes, and I'll wrap it up properly when its dry.

Coffee. Then off to do the very last thing in my list that I made on Monday, more woodfiller. Getting there eventually.

More de-dustifying, good stuff. Keyboards really do get quite disgusting don't they?

That keyboard was horrendous! And the lappie never broke down, my opinion of Dell has gone up again :o

I'd be doing really well if the list had been a weekly one. Unfortunately, it was daily :rotfl: Just shows that either I don't concentrate, or I list too much.

Actually, that blog gave me an idea - not only concentrating, but also planning the week - maybe a frog a day, according to how we've been thinking of it. I know that I haven't been working as hard as I could be, and I've been including everyday admin in the things achieved - they have to be done, sure, but they don't help accomplish the dream, they just maintain the current reality. Which isn't good enough (the reality, not the maintenance). I know what I mean :rotfl:

Anyway, I'm waiting to be sure the lappie is dry before I pack it away, and I've done some wood filler work too. The only thing on the list completely not done is the garden work - and I can do a bit of that tomorrow morning. Excellent. Off to Sainsbury at 6pm, just about to start paid work again .....

De-dustifying sounds so much better, so much more productive.

I've been with my Mum all day, and she has spent most of it criticising the cousin who helps her out. I didn't point out that the very things she is critical of, are things which she used to do when we were young. Memory is a very fickle thing.

And .. a while back you were talking about getting a light pull, and I confessed to having an ordinary lamp in the loo. Well its now fixed! One of those small jobs I kept putting it off. But I was shamed into doing it.

Thanks KC, I have sloped back in. Cuppa in hand. I SO know all those conversations, my Mum's used to be MUM "You know Cybil's Aunties, Dads, Cousins Friend?? ME "No" MUM "Yes you do, you know they live next to Fred who was married to Wilma?" ME " No" MUM "Anyway......... the other day they..........." "ME (think bubble) For G***s Sake I wish she would shut up" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Mum's are lovely when they are seen or talked to in small doses aren't they :)

My subscribed list was massive, I had a clear out and stopped reading so many recently. Restricting myself to only those diaries that make me :rotfl::rotfl: and :D:D and :beer:

  • What a busy week, and it seems like the paid hours are going up!

Loving the new words charitizing and de-dustifying, sounds very up market :D.

I am reading and lurking and checking in to make sure you are up to lots of mischief ;).

Absolutely - we've got a very strained situation at the moment exactly because of that, but this time its not me.

And .. a while back you were talking about getting a light pull, and I confessed to having an ordinary lamp in the loo. Well its now fixed! One of those small jobs I kept putting it off. But I was shamed into doing it.
Good for you! I still admire my lightpull every time I go into the bathroom, whether I use it or not :j

As Harry Potter and the Weasley twins would say, "mischief managed" :D tho charitizing is Lula's, and de-dustifying is Squizz's, I love them both :j

I haven't really done anything particularly mischievious, but I'm working on A Plan for the weekend. My little fennel plant didn't have a good night, and is now drooping again, so I think I might put him outside today, he'll probably feel better.

Will do, Taxi, will do. There's a big changeover of people happening ... its inevitable, I guess - I'm still here because even tho I'm d/f, as you know I'm still having money troubles.

    Not for much longer :D

One interesting thing I'm doing today is giving feedback on a friend's website - she's a commercial designer, and her green website isn't revving up the business like it should do, so I'm going in as a prospective customer  I love doing that sort of thing.

That sounds really interesting Karma - I did a survey yesterday to test a trial website for the Olympics - one for when they're running so people can find results etc. Actually something I've been meaning to do with my work web pages as well, get someone to try them out to see if they are user-friendly.

Hope little fennel is OK.. hopefully some fresh air will perk him up! :)
