I haven't dared to go out there yet, trying to find my map, compass, axe and pack a picnic - I may be a while :D

Ah good! I thought you'd posted that yesterday and had been wandering around in the undergrowth all night :rotfl:

I'm with Z on the mind mapping, I quite like them for getting my head straight for work projects, but often want to have the branches join each other, and then shoot off in separate directions. So I might have 'training' for example, on a few of the branches, and then have to start a new map, just for training, whereas I want to join them all together!
Mine always look more like those 'word connect' puzzles, with arrows zooming all over the page.

Hope everyone returns safely from the visits to their garden jungles.

Yay to gardening and a bit of sunshine - gardens need at least a year of not much happenning to them to let them evolve - so you're doing yourself a favour by not doing too much too quickly!

    Well done!

Hope you sort a money plan - only skim read - sorry - full service post thesis hand in

Love mind map - but mine look like a wierd painting of modern liking when I do them!:rotfl:

    :A
Thanks Pippi - my mum keeps telling me that, but I'll believe it from you :rotfl:Don't worry about skim reading - the vibe of how busy you are is all over your thread - I hope it calms down soon.
They are the kind of maps i can relate to Z- :)
I don't think I could *use* them, but they're really beautiful! I particularly like those circles with a little arrow that immediately does a 180 turn back onto itself :D

That doesn't sound great, El - I wasn't doing any gardening yesterday, I od'd on the computer and felt really sick and headachey this morning because of it, so this morning I've come on here a bit later - decluttered 2 books, load of trading cards, and a box :T I really couldn't face looking at a computer screen early this morning.

I'm feeling *very* frustrated with the trading - I confess I haven't even looked at it today, I'm giving it a miss - I'll check in after a 2nd breakfast and another cup of tea, but only briefly. I had a meeting with my business partner yesterday, and he was really reassuring about the system working long term, since I evolved the thing about 3 years ago - its bound to have the odd week when things don't quite gel. Supportive or what :kisses3:

So I spent the day drafting out the insulation website, for a manufacturer and for a product, plus since google offer free websites, I set one up as an experiment, not using my proper green name, but a family history one - and sure enough, it comes up with a google.com bit in the URL, so that a no-go for the long term. Useful to have for family history, but nothing to do with my green project - its not businesslike enough.

Today, I'll be prepping stuff, basically - for going at the trading again next week proper (tho I've got so many sessions on Monday, I won't be able to do a full 4 hours trading), for the NHS complaint, and for the furniture complaint. A lot of the drafting has been done, its not quite as bad as it sounds.

And since I didn't get on here at all yesterday, you guessed it, I'm going to have a wander around the boards :j

Morning! Have you had a look at Weebly for website - it's quite good, although it does give you a weebly.com website address automatically, you might be able to cheaply register your own domain name instead.

    Have a good day :)

Hi folks - early morning mist can be very beautiful, can't it.... I can see quite a distance from both the front and the back of this - not a full 180 degrees, but not bad ... and the layers of mist in folds of the countryside are absolutely beautiful ... I love looking at that.

Weebly - thanks Squizz - I'll check that, I'm sure Tim Ferriss mentions them. I'll do that now, cup of tea is installed :)

Ooh Squizz, this is really interesting - look at this, that I cut and pasted from weebly:

    "Publish to Your Own Domain

If you already own your own domain, use it with Weebly, at no charge. You can publish to your own domain name (ie. www.example.com instead of example.weebly.com) and we’ll still host your website for free. You have the option to purchase a domain directly within Weebly which we instantly setup, or you can configure a domain that you already own!"

That means I could do it with them, doesn't it, I could have my green website name without the fiddle of having "weebly" in it? Is that how it reads to you?

Yes, that is what they're saying.

Beware of those DNS registrars who do your domain for very cheap. You'll actually find that they "own" your name, not you. This becomes a problem when you want to move it, and you have to fork out mucho money to them.

Yep! Mr S used it to set up a website for a course he's doing, so just used the free 'weebly' named one, but is thinking about carrying it on as a permanent project so might go for a 'proper' name in a bit.

Sounds like a lovely view this morning :)
