Grrr, serves me right for not keeping up with diaries this week. KC is in my old stomping ground. I was brought up on the edge of the fens about half way between Cambridge and Peterborough and Ely is a place we took all visitors to visit.
I bet it will be lovely along the backs this week with all the daffodils out, very jealous
Great that you are able to meet up G :j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
Yay to meeting KC you lucky lady. Hope that the sun is shining there as much as here Gill. Also a bit jealous because I should have been in your neck of the woods this weekend (visiting family) but it didnt happen. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. hi all
we have had a lovely morning, KC is at her mum's in Formby, so she got off the train at a local station and we've visited places she's heard of, because she went to school near where I live.
She is soo lovely, and it was enlightening to see my part of Liverpool through her eyes. Her amazement at looking out across the Mersey, and being able to see Wales, something that I just take for granted, that on a clear day you can see Moel Famau and if its really clear - Snowdon.
It really is good to take a fresh look at things. It's a lovely sunny day, we sat outside in the sunshine and drank 'Scousers Breakfast Tea', and chatted and chatted.
She's spending tomorrow with her family and then I think on Tuesday its Cambridge and Ely, or maybe the other way round.
Cheri - is it Widnes your family are? If ever you are in the area, let me know.
PS - I know this isn't my diary, but she won't be posting for a while.Debts at LBM - Mortgages £128497 - non mortgage £27497 Debt now £[STRIKE]114150[/STRIKE][STRIKE]109032[/STRIKE] 64300 (mortgage) Credit cards left 0
