  • Two tired adults in the house makes for a bad atmosphere all round:mad:

On a more positive note I have wrapped all the Christmas present that we already have in hand and others have been ordered (got the 13year olds list, one item is a £36 bottle of perfum...ah how quick they grow up:eek:!)

  • Its official, all December Christmas and birthday shopping is done, wrapped and mostly all delivered!:o:p

Realised yesterday that I had booked the coach to gatwick on the wrong day:eek: I have no idea how I made that complete c**k up.

Had a lovely day today, went out with SIL, had lunch and then finally got round to using my nail voucher I had given me in July! Nails and cuticles looking good now:D

Collected my three £25 itunes vouchers from Tesco today (paid for with my Tesco vouchers on a special offer double up they had on line last week). I now have lots of these stashed.......most peeps will be getting them as birthday presents next year:rotfl:

As I work in the public sector; next Wednesday is going to be fun, a lot of people seem to be striking and the last thing I heard was all out patients clinics within our Local Health Board were to be cancelled to ensure patients safety...for god sake what is this country coming too:eek::( Looks like I might be in work with nothing to do! How rediculous:(

I agree if people want to strike then they should be allowed, but I also feel very strongly that quite a few people are striking because they feel pressured to do so. I remember the miners strikes and all the bad feeling those caused, it just worries me that people will end 'bullied' into acting in a way that they would rather not. Not to mention those that cannot afford to lose a days pay...which may well turn out to be more than one day, as I'm not sure a one day strike will be enough to make a difference to the government.

    Blughhhhhhhhhhh

Anyway on a lighter note I have a mystery shops booked for Sunday and Monday. Tomorrow is dog training and kennel visiting day, should be fun as long as its not raining.

To end a grumpy post on a real positive....how FANTASTIC that Tallgirls puddy cat has been found safe and well:j:j:j

Thanks TPA it is nice to have the cat back really thought that was it after two weeks. Well done on the Christmas shopping I need to get going and post something to Denmark as we are not going over this year.

Also well done on the MS I'm in a phase where I just cannot be bothered unless the are really worth it and very near.

  • Back from hollibobs, heavier and lighter!

Heavier in weight, lighter (much lighter) in money!

Doggies survived the kennels, but had to be seperated after 5 nights as thy decided enough was enough and had a little scrap:mad:..naughty boys!

Puddy cat was in heaven at the cattery, we are really lucky to have a fantastic one nearby.

I really missed them all whislt on holiday, don't think I will be going away without them again anytime soon:o

If I do ever say on here I am thinking of going on holiday again, please remind me the cat cost me £84 and the dogs £241; if that doesn't put me off then I must REALLY need a holiday:rotfl:

Its all the 'little' things that add up the cost of holidays, isn't it?? £136 for the coach, £50 tesco vouchers for hotel stay night before flight, kennels and cattery.....and so it goes on!

I now have suitcases full of dirty clothes that need washing drying and ironing - poo!

Got home to find my beautiful Mummy has had to go into hospital, she has been having tummy trouble for weeks now, back and forth to the doctors with no change, it got so bad my Dad insisted she went in, she was just sitting all day wrapped up in a blanket feeling coled, even though their heating was on 28 degrees:eek:. Now we have the fight to ensure the nursing staff give her medication on time so we don't end up in the same pickle we were earlier in the year:(

Its almost January people!!!! Will have to think of a witty title for my new-year diary...of course it should have been my final diary as I will reach my 40th and the mortgage really should be paid off by then....but a rather large 4x4 happened and has added goodness knows how many months (years:eek:) to the MFW target.ops!

    Hope everyone is ok.

Just caught up with your diary, TPA.

So sorry to hear your mum is poorly. How is she getting on in hospital. I hope the "people" haven't been making another appearance.

No people or animals this time! But if they don't give her, her medication on time there will be, which is what is scaring me.

She has had terrible pains in her stomach for weeks, has been back and for to the doctors being sick etc. They have no idea what is causing it, she has been putting off going in to hospital as she was worried what would happen to her there.

I will be having words with Sister in charge tonight, if nothing changes I will make an offical complaint, I know it is the Local Health Boards policy to give medication when needed not just during the drugs round..if I know this, why don't they:mad:

  • Happy New Year everyone, i realise it is a few hours early but I am off to bed.

I really hope, for me and mine at least 2012 will be a much better one than 2011.

2011 has ended on a real sour note for me, my beautifully Mum is still in hospital and my gorgeous rescue dogs have decided they hate each other, to the extent of damaging each other:(

Some times life is !!!!!!, but at least a new year is upon us and I can convince myself tomorrow is not just a new day but a new year, a new start and a new diary.
