Am thinking I 'ought to put the Steps CD back on, so far today I've not been very productive, I've had breakfast, made a cup of tea and the rest of the day has been spent sat on the safa cwtching the dogs and catching up with the Sky+; Phil Spencer: Secret Agent.
I'm sure some Steps music would make me move my fat backside and at least get some ironing done!.:p
I've been doing some 'voucher' adding up, I have £70 worth on Consumer pulse, £35 in Sainsburys, £79.50 Tesco vouchers in hand and another £60 due over the next week or so. £6.50 from asda (price check) and a further £33 from Tesco (see the 25% wine thread on Grabbit:o) I also have 6 x 5p off a litre fuel from Tesco, can use three at a time so thats mine and hubbys vehicles sorted over the next week.
Tomorrow is the 1st of the month...again....so finances will need to be worked out, lets hope the news is better than over the last couple of months:o

It might be the last thing on your mind but it's better to get the ironing done here and now, just stomp on through the house work, and do the ironing because if the pile gets too big it would be a tragedy!
Ohhh, I feel so sadGoing to see them in April for my 21st!
Hope you're well, and your pooches too! x0 -

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I have cleaned the inside of the living room windows (took all of 2 minutes) and done a third of the ironing and tidied the pile again:rotfl: I need to relax now, ready to answer the door to all those pesky Trick or Treaters.

What can I say? Step's have a hold on my heart
Okay, I'm done now. Really!
Hope you managed to relax last night. Now's when you do your monthly rounder-uppers, right? Hope they're looking sweet!0 -
Ops forgot to post figures yesterday!
Total remaining mortgage - savings = £26,439.84, almost £5,000 more than 1/1/11:eek:.
Next month we have to pay the remainder of the holiday, go on said holiday and then theres Christmas:eek::eek:. Hopefully we can at least keep to that figure and not add to it.
I have done a bit of tidying, emptied the dishwasher and put it back on with the monthly cleaner in it (hate doing this as it seems such a waste to run it empty, but it really does make a difference.)
I've also got back into reading books, finished one that I started 18 months ago:eek: And have read half another one (true story about a couple taking on a rescue dog:rotfl:) Am finding it most relaxing.
Right, I have for some reason booked 6 mystery shops for this pm, so best get a wiggle on, cannot really do them in my PJs!

Its been a strange 10 days or so.
Hubby has been ill and off work (the first time he has taken sick leave in the 10 years we have been together). I don't make a very good nurse as I don't have much patience.....if I'm ill I take myself off and would prefer to be left alone, poor DH likes attention. As soon as I was getting in from work last week he was telling me he was bored! So I dragged down loads of paper work from upstairs and left it for him to sort out! In fairness with his 'man flu' he wasn't up to doing much else.
To end a frustrating week I got thumped by a patient with mental health problems. Luckily it was on my back, on my bra line, so no damage done, sometimes it good to be a larger lady!:o No bruise or any other mark so cannot play the sympathy vote!
House is looking better, despite DH being home all last week, to the naked eye it looks a tip, but I know loads of stuff has been sorted and feel a lot better for it.
I think the doggies liked having DH home all last week, the three of them (thats two doggies and one DH!) vegged out on the sofa all day...cheeky bu**ers, I really should make them earn their keep, but they cannot even reach the hob to make a cup of tea:rotfl:
Poor cat is still struggling to male sense of two doggies in the house, but we are getting there.
I did quite a few MShops last week and had my hair cut in the new enormous Tesco store for the baragin price of £10:rotfl:It hadn't been cut since before Mum went into hospital..no wonder it was looking like a jungle.:o
I have a joint of beef in the slow cooker so am feeling quite smug today, unlike me to be organised.
I am going to sort out my pressy drawers today and see what Christmas presents I still need to purchase.
TPAxMFW - We've only gone and blooming done it!May 2013:j0 -
