Don't be too hard on yourself TPA, you're a new mum so you're allowed to treat yourself ;)

GG, I wasn't expecting you, of all people to make an excuse for me!

Been out tonight with hubbys work mates, bowling and some dodgy food! Had a lovely time:D

  • Three mystery shops completed, am feeling rather pleased with myself :)

I've booked a day a week off as annual leave every week in November, so three day week here I come (just got to get next week over and done with!) I WILL be using this time to finally put my tax return is (all paper work ready so no excuse really) and sort out the house.

Please kick me up the bum if I am on here procrastinating about stuff!

  • Its been a strange weekend so far.

I did loads of mystery shops yesterday, one involved going into Screwfix, my XOH was in there, (its a fairly small shop where you order you item and move on to the collection area-so takes a little while) now, I've been married for almost 7 years, left X over 9 years ago, but I was still shaking like a leaf, I was scared, it put me on edge all day:(
Came home and told DH how much I appreciate him:)

Other than that the mystery shops went very well:rotfl:

Went to dog school, we were 'middling' better than last week:j

    Payday tomorrow:j

I'm having a 'veging' day today.

  • Wow, i've got my mojo back!

I've been such a busy bee, vacuumed and washed all floors, sorted out the shed (it really really needed it!) so I can now get to everything in it.:A

Have written to National Express with regards to a problem we had last year! Yes I know its ages ago but I did write and email at the time, however sister in law gave me a tip about writing through their website so I've given it a go.

Payday today so i've done the money zumba and moved pennies into correct places.

Must check the CC bill online and pay the council tax (ops its late...again!):(

I have also sorted the ironing mountain into lovely organised piles, i've not actually ironed any of it but it looks much better:rotfl:

Off to put the kettle on and dig out the dreaded iron.

    That is so true xx

I had a mini self destruct moment earlier, went to the local shop and spent £6 on rubbish, chocolate, crisps, general junk.....ahhhhh, what on earth is the matter with me???:( I really need to get my head back in the right place as far as food is concerned....and the mess in the house is concerned...and spending is concerned..oh poop, no hope.

TPA trundles off to make a cup of tea and wallow in her own stupidity.

Wheres that kick up the ar*e I need?

Now you've found the kick that you needed about the mess in your house, please could you send it over to my place and tell it to kick me about the mess in mine too? :(

Do you have any leave owing you from work?
From next week I have taken one days leave a week for 4 weeks, I am determined to use them wisely, tidy house, sort out Christmas, lots of cuddles off the dogs n cat:rotfl:

I have also had a good think about Mum, she is doing fantastically well, much better than anyone could have ever imagined, I need to stop wasting my life, she has taught me this:A

The dogs are hard work but worth it, totally adorable little monsters, this also makes me want to grasp the day and not waste it. Hence the 'almost' enjoyable walk in the thunder and rain earlier:rotfl:

  • It is nice to see you less in the dumps and full of get up and go. Long may it last. We had thunder and lightning here, and it scared Murphy. I can't imagine us having any walks in the thunder and lightning any time soon.

Thanks TPA. I'm a teacher, so I don't have leave in that way. But I am only part time, so in theory I do have a bit of time each week when I'm at home and my kids aren't. It seems to get used up, though. I go to help my dad look after my mum, or I try to have a little bit of a life - see a friend for coffee or something equally adventurous - or I just feel so wiped out that I spend the time blissfully doing nothing. All of which are good things to do, but they are not getting my house sorted out. :( Which is why I need a kick.
