Good work hon. I also would be tempted not to bother with the MS. If it is taking up that much time and not really that profitable then there is probably not much point.
Gallys point about spending the time with your mum is a great one. Or you could get back to the gym, or whatever else you wanted to do.
What do you mean PRETENDING not to have a drink in my hand!:p
Cha, you are an amazing insperation, your daily thread has made loads of us pull up our socks and get on with the little things that would other-wise have been forgotten about:A
Having made the little savings with the phone, internet (which I have just found out is on a rolling month by month bases; so could be cancelled after the 3 free months:cool:) cancelling the cleaner etc. I think I will probably give up the MSing, trouble is I'm an all or nothing type of girl, so will have to unsubscribe from all their books or will be tempted to do one or two, or three or four, or twenty or thirty........., once one has been done in the finanacial year, might as well do 100's as the tax return will still need doing:(
If the weather stay lovely like this it will be nice to have some quiet evenings in the garden.
The other thing i'm aware of is my extra Tuesday evening work that brings me in approx. £52 per week is ending the middle of May, thats a lot to be giving up, but its not as if we are brasic (sp) and as GG says the amount left on the mortgage is very manageable....
Have I convinced you.....still trying to convince myself:rotfl:

You had me convinced the 1st time.
You paint me like a saint hon, i'm far from it. I had a selfish motive. The more you lot are doing, the more i think i should be doing.:p If you all get more done by being part of it, then all the better.0 -

If only all selfish motives were as productive for the rest of us:rotfl:

Hello all
Took my gorgeous mummy for her first shopping trip out on Saturday, went to hobby craft and managed to get a 'Parking Charge Notice' for £90:mad:. I didnt display her disabled badge correctly....however looking on the parking issues thread I dont think the fine is enforceable....will just have to sit it out:eek:
Been a busy weekend, worked Saturday am, took Mum out Saturday pm (i'm not daft, left hubby at home supervising the painting and repairs!).
Today the lovely flooring men are here putting down my new wooden floor to replace the water damaged one, shouldn't look any different but I supose there is no excuse now for not throwing things away before all the junk gets put back in the living room:o
(I have to say the one flooring man is rather easy on eye:p:o)
Had my car insurance quote through today, £263.68, tried looking online for a cheaper quote but couldnt get one anywhere near, same last year too. I rang them up and complained that it had gone up (despite being £40 cheaper than the closest competitor) and they immediatly offered me a £13 discount, decided to take off the legal cover as I get this with my bank account deal and the figure went down to £231.35:j:j. Not bad considering last month the cheapest we could get hubbys for was £360:eek: Cannot belive I am staying with the same company three years running:j
I have just realised I am only working two days this week, its the end of the annual leave year and I still have a few days spare, not allowed to carry any over like we used to, so just tomorrows usual long day and Thursday for me:j. Just as well the state the house is in:o
Oh well what to do whilst the flooring men are still here and I am stuck upstairs with no TV???

I had a mirena fitted years ago and they looked quite shocked that I didnt want it just changed over when the 5 years was up... That was 2 years ago. Went back to 'normal' til Feb then had to go on the pill again as the zits were awful....
Am considering having another Mirena done, but just hate the whole insertion/settling down phase.....
