Whoop whoop! Am sooo happy for you! Where do you fancy going?
I would love to go to *deep breath*
Italy (anywhere)
San Francisco
Vancouver
New Zealand (not Australia which is too full of poisonous beasties)
Japan
Thailand
Vietnam
Spain
I have no idea if any of these are feasible (Suspect the more exotic ones aren't, but a gal can dream!)
Mr Fresian doesn't want to talk about what to do with the money at the moment. We can't cash the cheque right now anyway until his folks give us the go-ahead. He's getting all "I can't accept it, I don't deserve it" whereas I'm more of the "I bl00dy deserve it, what to do, what to do?!" attitudeI'm of the opinion that it's about time something financially decent happened to us!
I suspect that what will happen is I will cash the cheque and just pay the money into my savings account until a decision is reached. I'm still going to pay off his debts with it though, that part is non-negotiable!

Well done FF looks like karma is smiling on you.
You deserve it after all the hard work for the last couple of years. Give Mr Fresian a tap to the head to knock some sense into him. It is not like you are going to be stupid with the money you are using it for sensible purposes. (Holidays fall into an essential category in our household, they are what keeps you sane especially with the weather in bonny Scotland)
P.S. I think I am now addicted to PAD:pWeekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

It's kinda hard to take in to be honest, but we're both thrilled

I still don't know what we're doing with it, but he needs to decide soon as my finger was getting very itchy looking on lastminute.com last night. San Francisco is really appealing to me for some reason....
I think he'll end up wanting PC parts and a better car though. Bah!!
Being addicted to PAD is the best thing ever, it got me debt-free. I love PAD and suspect it's a principle I'll continue for a long time yet.
For those who have been following my iPod woes....I lasted less than a week without oneMy new baby arrived today and is perfect, jet black case with silver backing. I've also ordered a lovely new skin for her to protect her from scratches. She cost me £193  but I love her. I solemnly swear never to leave her on public transport and to check my bag/pockets 5 times before I dismount said transport in the future.
She's been paid for with £45 obtained through breaking into my Sealed Pot (lalalaaaa) and the rest from frugalising for the next few weeks. It's not like we need food that often anyway

Oh how lovely getting such a nice prezzie, that is so lovely, hope you get your well deserved holiday now.
How annoying about your i-pod too, shame a nice honest person didn't find it, very annoying, especially when you sold your winning one on to my OH last year!0
