I spent saturday re watching the previous 6 episodes first, extra extra geeky. I also have a mental list of fav quotes from this series, 38 years old and a total Who Geek:D:D:D

I had rewatched the first three but ran out of time. I suspect that tonight will see me rewatching the fourth, and best, of the series. I really wish that they would lock Neil Gaiman in a dungeon at Who Towers and make him keep writing for them. It was brilliant :D

A very relaxing day in Fresian Towers.

We went for a wee drive towards the Borders, but the weather was mince, so it was a lot of scenery and not a lot of outside :D Still, it's always nice to get out of the city and see some hills, and there are lots of cute lambs, calves and piglets in the fields at the moment, so a couple of hours of awww-ing was had ;)

We've had a nice dinner of slow-cooked chickens legs (thank you Aldi - 99p for two!) with brocolli for me, tatties and carrots for himself. I've finished off two cards for an order for a friend, and watched last night's Doctor Who again :o

I'm now fully relaxed and ready for my bed!

Is it just me or was Dr Who brilliant on sat, never saw that coming.

I've not watched it yet, so shush you lot! ;)

Embarassingly, I haven't watched any of the new series yet, but I have them all Sky+ed. Or at least I thought I did. The Sky+ decluttering fairy (aka Picklemum) might have been doing her work again. *Decides to check before getting angry*

If Picklemum has deleted them, they should still be on iPlayer online :D

    Evening folks :D

A reasonably poor day at work, but I didn't succumb to the temptation of cakes to make me feel better - although I will admit to a large amount of tea today! I have managed to stay under my points allowance too. I know you're not meant to be under the allowance but I'm getting nice and full on the fruit and veg and haven't wanted to eat just for the sake of it.

I also managed to get half an hour of energetic walking in after work too. I came home, had dinner then realised I had a parcel to post and 25 minutes to get to the Post Office, so an energetic 15 minutes up the hill and 15 minutes back down :D The Post Office is in our local Asda, so I had a perv around and got a couple of WW quiches for less than half price (good thing too as they're bl00dy overpriced) and some muffins for Mr F who has been very good about us not having many "proper" treats in the house until I can convince myself that I have actual willpower ;)

Naff all else to report - just counting down until Saturday at 2pm when I'm officially on holiday for a week :j

    Morning :D

First MSE piece of news is that I have received another SB voucher for Amazon and am already 510 points to the good. I need 849 for another £5 voucher so that's working quite well for me :T

None of my Ebay items are selling, but they're all relisted items anyway so if they aren't sold I'll try Gumtree then they're off to the charity shop. I've also withdrawn the rest of my Paypal balance and will PAD that when I arrive. It's only about £12 I think, but if it sits in my Paypal I'll spend it on things I don't need ;)

The second-to-last bill came out of my bills account this morning. The only one left is my mobile phone, which is around the same every month, so I'm paying the extra £50 in my account to the mortgage as another overpayment. I've made at least one overpayment every month this year and have overpaid more than £300 :j Ok, it's not a lot in the grand scheme of things, but as I'm concentrating more on building up my savings, I'm pretty pleased with that.

Off to work now....trying to think of the glorious overtime. If I make it in for eight, I'll have banked 2.25 hours since yesterday and I'm working 5 on Saturday too. Then I'm on holiday!
