Another shameless copy and paste I'm afraid...

    Frugal things today

Only spent £1.80 in the pub

Bought microwavable tub of a suitable size for soup so I'll make my own soup and take it to work.

Made slow-cooked chilli. Must have only used a small amount of mince though as there wasn't as much there compared to when I normally make it. I didn't have any peppers to bulk it out though...there was enough for dinner tonight (for two), a portion for two to freeze, my lunch tomorrow and some for Mr Fresian's dinner tomorrow too.

Portioned up remaining Costco mince into six parcels for the freezer. This means I'm getting larger portions than I could have made, but will use them for batch cooking only so extra value in theory.

Returned trousers to Sainsbury's as I didn't need them really. These were bought in December so are an extra £10 into my purse. £6 of this went into one of my Sealed Pots though as I don't spend £2 coins and got three of them in my change.

Nothing happened today that I would consider particularly spendy which is always good to hear!

    Morning folks :D

Hope everyone is ok today. Today is my first official day back at work of 2011 and I'm travelling again. Bah. Thankfully I'm off to Leeds which means a nice chinwag and something to eat with Intergalactic Floozie, woo!

I think I'm just about packed, although because I was both ill and lazy during the festive period it's been quite a struggle to find enough clean clothes. I think I'm probably going to get there and realise I have no clean socks :D

I've just finished stamping some cardmaking images for Souk and will colour them while I'm away on my travels. I just need to get the "get up and go" to make the finished cards.

Have a good day all - remember, if it's your first day back at work today it's already Hump Day :D

    Morning folks :D

Well I had a lovely dinner/gossip with Floozie last night and have just stuffed my face with the hotel breakfast to minimise the amount I spend on lunch today :rotfl:

    Money

    PAD/Spends - £85
    Entertainment - £48.20
    Groceries - £44.26
    ISA Savings - £363.77
    VSP - £73.11

My credit card is sitting with a balance of £298.51 at the moment. I got £100 Monsoon refund yesterday and paid £120 to it today so there's only going to be £78.51 to pay off it. I have more than that sitting in the account to pay it off and still have things to return to Next, so once that's done I might even be in credit :D Anything I don't need to use for the credit card will be an extra PAD.

Yesterday I'm classing as a NSD as although I did buy some *coughcraftythingcough* online, I know that when all my credit card transactions go through they won't have cost me extra money. :A

Right, I had better go and make sure all my packing has been done. Have a good day all!

Unless the gods are smiling upon me, my first big purchase of the year is going to be a new ipod to replace the one I think I left on the train.

    B*ggeration.
