DS1's partner had another miscarriage yesterday :( the hospital said that if it happens again they will start to investigate!!

Sorry to hear that Green. My sister also miscarried on Thursday last week. :( Poor love, she only found out she was pregnant 5 days before that!

I hope it was just bad luck and that they don't have any more problems.

    xx

Euro - thank you again for that link to stop those phonecalls. Set it all up last and said it takes 28 days to update - it cant come soon enough! Have already had 3 cold callers today, have unplugged the phone as OH is working nights at the minute so is trying to sleep! I had a right go at one of the men phoning, dont think he knew what hit him :rotfl:

    You're welcome Flower!

I remember when a colleague told me about it years ago, I couldn't understand why it wasn't more widely advertised or known about as it is a Godsend!

I've only been watching the UK version, but yes the oranges had to go. Bl00dy whiners.

As far as the static weight loss goes (sorry can't remember back who was annoyed about it now!) but I posted over in a weight loss thread that it's quite common to plateau - especially if you're in the second week of your new regime? Something about your body getting used to the new diet and realising it's not starving. The second week is, apparently, 'storage mode' week before it gets back to normal.

Yeah, they were so annoying. They were used to eating thousands of calories per day more than they should, and then 'struggled' to eat 875 calories per day when they were there? Come off it! Oh yes, and undereating is the reason she only lost 2lbs?! Nothing to do with barely exercising then (well, before the last minute work out anyway).

Those two are in denial about their problems, and 'enable' each other massively! It's a shame though, as the only people who will suffer in the end, is them!

Yes, 2nd week in a new regime is always difficult. I think, particularly if you lost quite a big amount in the first week, your body gets scared that there will be no more food coming and so tries to hold onto the stored fat for longer. I dunno. That's probably exactly what Thrifty said, just in a different way! lol

GRRR How do you use the multiquote function??? Everytime I use it I click the button on all these messages I want to reply to but then when I get to the reply stage it only ever saves 2 of them?

    Anyway, Hi everyone!!

Thrifty, Euro - it was only my first week *cries* I'll probably end up putting on in the second if thats the case! :rotfl::( I usually do underestimate the calorie intake and thats where I've fell down in the past so I have been keeping a food diary this time round - trust me I'm being really ruthless! (I had half a biscuit today, a broken one from the bottom of the tin, and on monday I had a knob of butter on my potatoes, and I even wrote those down - thats how good I'm being! sad....)

Danko, my mum got a John Lewis voucher once and she didn't anything so she went there and offered it to someone who was about to buy something and they just gave her the cash!

Can't remember now who else I was going to reply to, ever mind.

Just a £1 pad for me again today please FF!

    xx
