Morning All!
Hope you're all well!
Well, I used my tax rebate to clear what I owed to OH. Wahoo! So, €313 to him, which is a PAD of 261.62 GBP!!! Clean start to the year! I could've left it for ages as interest free, but I hate owing money to loved ones more than anything. Now it's gone, it's freed up another €70 per month which can towards debt repayments!
I was organised for once this year too and cancelled the extra lotto I started to play a few months back. One game per month is enough thanks! Also, finally, sent a letter to cancel my donation to Amnesty (which I got roped into at a festival!). And, two years after I left the UK, I've finally decided to let Tesco Loans know my new address! hahaha. Born out of nothing but laziness! AND, the letters have been sent! They haven't just been typed and forgotten about.
Also did the Shred DVD workout yesterday morning. Between you guys and watching the Biggest Loser US, I decided I'd better get my @rse into gear pronto! Everything hurts today! But........it didn't knacker me out as badly as it did the first time I did it.
And, I used the remainder of my tax rebate to get a slow cooker! http://www.morphyrichards.co.uk/ProductDetail.aspx?Product=48730 This one! Which no longer seems to be available in the UK, but is here on mail order. Now I need to get some recipes and order some groceries so I can get cooking on Sat (if arrived by then).
Hope all are having a good day!

Oh, sorry to hear that Psycho! Dodgy hugs for you! :grouphug: What was the argument about? Something small which got a bit out of hand? Or something bigger?
I hope you are able to work it out.

Yep a year since it was cleared and 8 months since things went pear shaped with work and we had to rely on credit again, lasted long didnt it :rotfl:have to laugh otherwise I'll cry!!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Hi all, the usual £1 to Barclaycard today. Hoping to get it under £100 when I get paid. :j
Well done to those doing Shred again. :T I started again last week and have been alternating it with another DVD to try and flatten my stomach. Think I'm about ready to move up to level 2 again as level 1 isn't hurting enough now. :rotfl: Of course, having just finished my workout half an hour ago I'm sitting eating a packet of crisps.
Green - @ Millie and your glasses - I think I would have cried! My cats just worktop surf in the kitchen looking for anything edible they can steal. And they've been sick down my walls a couple of times. _pale_ Found cat sick down the wall behind my tall cabinet that the cats have a bed on top of....
My sister has had to start tying the baby gate over her 2yo twins' bedroom door shut because they figured out how to open it and were wrecking the house in the middle of the night! :rotfl: You're right - animals and kids.
*shudder* at DS2's bedbugs, hope the landlord is decent enough to get the bedding replaced.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -
