I'll be doing a lot of skimming ha ha!! You deserve some good sensible shopping after working hard to be debt free. I can't wait to be doing the same.

50p for me please to savings. That will probably be it til Tuesday, as my account is a nice round number now and I need to withdraw the cash - my children are like money vacuum cleaners!

doesn't matter if it' 50p or 5000p...PAD's are cool...welcome newbies and oldies who went awol for a while :)

    Right belly still rumbling

Want to go out for my jog though....pray I don't collapse or anything from lack of food...Maybe time to get some more porridge down me :D

Yesterday's PADs were FAB....can see folk getting paid LOL
    £2,703.36

Bringing a total PAD for this month collectively to -
    £36,550.55

So how soon can we bust 3.5k to make it unto 40k? that is the question

Anyhow need to go and get this wee porridge organised..

Am still smoke free despite the confusion I had last night but the e-cig is costing me a lot (well everything is bar food LOL)

    E

PS. My PAD for the week is £3.50 (50p x 7....going to make it a new aim to pay off 50p a day off debt extra to what I was planning)

    Hi everyone,

Got my act together and sorted out the next lot of payments, so a PAD of £200 to various cc's.

Thanks Erme, you're doing a brilliant job. Who's taking over on Friday then, and do we need a new thread F_F as we're fast approaching the magic 5000 posts?

    Hi all,

Haven't been on this thread for a while - only had my one loan left to pay and thought I'd leave it running how it is (that was about 6 months ago!) obviously the balance hasn't decreased by much and I've had a little play about with figures - even if I overpay by double each month it'll still take 2 yrs :(

Plus I don't have double each month to overpay with! I'm doing the £10 a day challenge so hopefully that'll help, and I'm now coming back to this one!

So, I will literally be filling my leapord print piggy with whatever change is lying around, or in my purse each day, and will post each Sunday for the whole week - hopefully it'll keep me on the straight and narrow! :heart2:

    1% challenge - Started Feb 2014. Cap1 card £1,073.42
    1% = £10.73 0% so far

    Hi folks

Miserable day here today. Shame because Gap-Sis's friend got married early this afternoon and the rain came down in time for the photos

Well after successfully beating my target by £40 for the last pay month I am bringing it back down to the usual £51.39 for the next pay month. Somehow I think I might be upping the target during the month again as today I am PADing £13.70!! Not bad for first PAD of the "month" for me. :D Thanks Erme :)

    Gap x
    Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000
    Mortgage today = £161,690.76
    300 271 payments to go.
    House buyout fund £21,000/£40,000

im feeling a bit dispondant at the moment to Flower08, my challenge at the moment is a bit of an uphill struggle.:(

I know that feeling well :( we are paying so much in interest that debts dont really seem to be going down very quickly despite throwing everything we can at them. Unfortunatly both OH and I have rubbish credit rating so no chance of getting balance transfers.

To top it off Tax Credits have managed to make a complete mess up of our renewal and we havent received any money for 5 weeks now - only £30 a week, but to us £30 a week is alot of money!

Just feels like every time we start getting on top of things something happens to ruin it all again.

Join the club... my friend said the other day 'the problem with you is that any time anything goes wrong its financial, there is always something you end up having to pay out for' SO TRUE! Our tax changed last year too so I'm not getting paid as much as I was, that combined with my increase in rent means my debt busting is very very slow :(
