  • Morning everyone!

Hope we all got some time in the glorious sunshine this weekend? I had a wonderful time watching DH dig an enormous hole in the garden, its hard work watching someone work that hard :rotfl:!
    Hi everyone,
Winnie - glad everything went well at the scan what was the date you thought you was due. I was put back by two weeks with DD1 and at the time I thought how can that be as I know what days things happened last lol but she was still two weeks late after that date so born a month after my original dates ??

The midwife had my date as 21st October so they've brought me forward by 11 days - I have absolutely no idea how that works though because like you, I know exactly when all important events happened (sorry if TMI :o) and there actually aren't 14 weeks on the calendar between then and now!
    Congratulations Winnie :T
Glad all is well... you said 'she'! Is it a girl or is it still too early to tell?

Thanks Dizzy! It is too early to confirm, but its just a gut instinct to call it she! Whether she's a boy or girl, I've decided to call it Bob either way. DH thinks I've gone mad, I think I've been watching too much Blackadder :rotfl:
Have my 3 days off now but got to spend the day at my promotion interview tomorrow, so got lots of little things to sort today for it (new watch battery, polish shoes etc etc etc) bit annoying I have to spend one of my days off at work but hopefully it will be worth it! Want to make sure I feel as prepared as possible for it, so I can give it my best shot as the other people who have been getting it... let's say some of them might not be the best choice.

Best of luck for tomorrow Psycho :D

Another ickle pad of 30p into the tardis from me today please! Was hoping for another day in the sun today but the sun has had other ideas. DH has gone away on a course for a week and DS is with his dad so its just me, Bob and the dog.....wonder what mischief we can get up to :D

Yep I know don't even get me started... I suppose they look at the interview as my choice and an opportunity for me so why should they pay me to be there? (not that I agree with this in the slightest!!)

    Thanks :)

I've been really rubbish recently not keeping up with posts so just wanted to apologise for things I may have missed :o Erme hope you feel better soon, take good care of yourself.

Och hugs hun...I'm just having an utter pj day (just when the sun comes out finally :()....The urine infection I had on fri/sat is now back (yep to boot with my MH probs I've got a urine infection and gastritis that's playing up...life huh?)....and now I can't get lunch which I need to get for my gastritis (I don't get hunger. So whilst head is fine :) ...yay (GP is going to refer me to smoking cessation @ the psych unit :D) bod is not :( so very little is getting done...

And the budget is not very healthy for this next week :( and I'm just about out of milk and waiting for GP to phone re Urine whatsit. :(....so yeah...PJ Day here :)

Anyhow whoever said roll on Friday...I say roll on a week mon before I get paid...Maybe if I'm 'good' I'll be able to do a wee pad and the OD will be zero dented :D

    Hi all:j

Popping in to PAD - £364.44 to mbna - paid off balance so it's now cleared:T:T:T but no doubt there will be some interest added on:eek:

Quick question if anyone knows - can I cancel my DD now (£25 due out on 27 April) and just keep an eye on the interest added so I pay that? Or will the DD adjust to be just the amount owed (s/b less than £25:D)

  • Sasha - mbna are s0ds... i cancelled my dd and they charged me for a late payment even though my balance was 0!!

Best to call them, ask them to cancel DD at their end and say you will pay anything outstanding for interest by debit card online.

Thanks very much for the advice Psycho -much appreciated & I will do as you suggest!! I seem to think they were already taking LESS in DD payment than interest charged IYSWIM. Whats all that abt then  ???
