So you have to spend one of your days off at work yet when you're ill they try to "discipline" you?
I don't suppose it's any worse than many places but I sometimes need reminders like this to appreciate self-employment.

Yep I know don't even get me started... I suppose they look at the interview as my choice and an opportunity for me so why should they pay me to be there? (not that I agree with this in the slightest!!)

Good luck COMP on your Moonwalk. I am walking 26 miles for a local hospice in July. However due to being hit by a car on a Zebra crossing at the Beginning of Feb i have yet to begin my training .
