A Payment A Day - Part 10!

Welcome on board Lala :hello:
Doubt that any cc provider would complain about getting paid their money back though I believe that some do have a minimum of £1 repayment. I also know some PADders and DFW's who take great delight in making lots of small payments throughout the month ~ I think it makes them feel better when the companies have to produce a statement of 10 pages, sort of like making them work a bit harder for the money rather than handing it over meekly :rotfl::rotfl:
And yes, you have done it spot on ~ the only rules really are to post your amount Big and colorful to make it easy for the counter-upper to err count up
and of course once you become addicted to PaD you can never leave! There are peeps on this board who have paid off thousands of pounds (and ones who have padded thousands to savings once they are DF) all thanks to the Power of PaD!

I realise that some lenders have a minimum repaymentr of £1. However, I believe that this can be circumnavigated (puts dictionary away!!) by making the paymentsby bank transfer from your bank rather than by logging on to the card company's site and asking them to take it from your bank account. Quite literally, I have sometimes made additional payments of 1p before. I don't care what they think of me. All I care about is - what can they do about it?
While I'm posting, I would like to announce my second PAD of the day of £113 :j0 -

Thank you! Am soooo excited! I think for DH's peace of mind we will have to find out what we've got - he really struggles with change and surprises really stress him out. Pregnancy has been great fun for him so far :rotfl:!
Hi Winnie, At least he will have nine months to get used to it. How did the scan go today. Hope all was well.
Had a NSP today and got a free ice cream today from work as a thank you for all help (would have prefered a bonus lol but the ice cream was nice)

Hi everyone,
£26.47 for me today please.
Just had a fringe cut into my hair, normally I get it done and by the next day I'm sweeping it over again, I'm determined to try and keep it!
Hope you are enjoying this very strange weather we are having, I've noticed this bright yellow thing in the sky, I think I may have seen it before once upon a time...

I've been doing a LOT of spreadsheet tickling lately to try and forecast what I can save over the next three or so months whilst still having our Motorcycle Road Trip in June (:j). After discovering that the interest on one of my savings accounts was reducing drastically in June (and which they'd handily forgotten to warn me of ) I quickly transferred all my savings into an ISA before the deadline and even had some more to sling in there yesterday to start me off healthily this ISA year. I tried to get my husband to do the same, but they wouldn't transfer the money in time because he changed his details to read 'married' and apparently that takes 3 working days to update. So that's about £150 or so of interest lost out on  Now all my savings are across 2 accounts instead of 3 so I guess at least it's tidier. Still annoyed about that interest for The Hubster though...
Secondly:
The delay in updating a marital status is quite frankly ridiculous and should be strongly complained about. You could do this in polite but firm language, and mentioning your banks requirement as an FSA regulated body to consider the principles of Treating Customers Fairly and that failing to update Mr Pixie's marital status lead to him losing his ISA top-up for the previous tax year which he will now not be able to get back. Unless that is they are able to backdate said deposit to the date it was requested.
Sending a letter like that directly to the Customer Relations department should either get the issue fixed or get you an offer of some compensation.
