Hi all,
Can I jump on board?
I've transferred a payment of £2.80 today to Cap One. I don't know why sending small payments hasn't occurred to me before. Think I thought it wasn't acceptable to them. They can't make a complaint about mini payments every day can they?
I basically rounded down my current account balance.
Have I done it right? Going to try to keep a running total on my signature to keep me motivated.

Thanks so much hun...It's not so much an overspend crime today but a health crime - I got up at 4am - oops.....And so today's agendas won't get done ...
I'm actually feeling heaps better since my wee trip to Inverness. A few days later I was saying to everyone 'should have happened 2 months sooner - would have saved me £1K in Apple Macs, One SH and One Admission to psych unit' . I kid ye not. So as soon as finances allow a rail card is a must like a which sub is a must. Purely for insurance when 'I need to get away'.....It'll save me £5 off the cheap fare to Inverness and maybe more if I go to Ma's at some point. I know it's £20 and I may not save £20 but like I said I can put it down as Insurance.....
For those that are wondering I have the which sub to try and stop me buying 3 of an item before I'm happy with what I've gotten. If I just do the research on which online then get the best budget buy I've saved a wee fortune
Eg.....At new Year I had a whoopsie spend on an espresso machine (I'm a coffee addict this is a must) cos my freebie one from work (a really posh one) was nearing the end of it's life. Without which I'd have prolly gotten a £200+ machine.....with which I got a £50 machine which does me just nicely..
The next day my vacuum out of the trash died. No amount of fixing would fix it. Which again. Ended up with max budget Bosch Bagless cylinder (£110 less than amazon at the time)...brilliant..don't regret getting it in the slightest and know it'll last.... again which best buy... and cheaper than a Miele or a Dyson :T
And now the radio doesn't like the plugagain
So yeah my crime today is getting up @ 4am but inspired by Lucy's thread (think it's called how much do you have to live on per month or something) I'm off to the chemist for NRT this pm to try and quit the evil weed cos sometimes in Inverness I had no cigs - I just had nicorette and that was all I was wanting for a few hours - just nicotine - so know I can do it....but it's tricky with me - too much NRT or too little and I'm in trouble

Welcome on board Lala :hello:
Doubt that any cc provider would complain about getting paid their money back though I believe that some do have a minimum of £1 repayment. I also know some PADders and DFW's who take great delight in making lots of small payments throughout the month ~ I think it makes them feel better when the companies have to produce a statement of 10 pages, sort of like making them work a bit harder for the money rather than handing it over meekly :rotfl::rotfl:
And yes, you have done it spot on ~ the only rules really are to post your amount Big and colorful to make it easy for the counter-upper to err count up
and of course once you become addicted to PaD you can never leave! There are peeps on this board who have paid off thousands of pounds (and ones who have padded thousands to savings once they are DF) all thanks to the Power of PaD!

Wow...I'm almost a regular again
Hey everyone!
I've been doing a LOT of spreadsheet tickling lately to try and forecast what I can save over the next three or so months whilst still having our Motorcycle Road Trip in June (:j). After discovering that the interest on one of my savings accounts was reducing drastically in June (and which they'd handily forgotten to warn me of ) I quickly transferred all my savings into an ISA before the deadline and even had some more to sling in there yesterday to start me off healthily this ISA year. I tried to get my husband to do the same, but they wouldn't transfer the money in time because he changed his details to read 'married' and apparently that takes 3 working days to update. So that's about £150 or so of interest lost out on  Now all my savings are across 2 accounts instead of 3 so I guess at least it's tidier. Still annoyed about that interest for The Hubster though...
Anyhoo, I also have had car/motorcycle services and have MOTs and such coming up, but I think I may be able to put a little aside over the next three months if I'm careful, so I hope to continue here with some small PaDs intermittently.
THEREFORE (after that essay) please put me down for £4.31 to take me up to Sunday.
I hope all are well. Sorry for being an AWOL member lately, but I do think of you all and regularly send out debt-busting vibes

Hi everyone,
Andy, I really like the way you are doing your targets as percentages, might have to nick that idea for my spreadsheet!
Why Thankyou ! Steal away....I find it's really good for motivation to see the percentages go up - if you do it to a couple of decimal points then there's always a bit of movement - even if you pay a quid. I think I stole the idea myself off a thread where peeps were saving house deposits....
My PAD today is £5.51 to mortagage.Debt Free 25th August 2010 with PAD !!TARGETS ::D
