One time in particular I had nothing but toast and jam for a week. Believe me, you will look back on these times in years to come and amaze at how far you have come. I don't know you personally but i know you will turn the corner because by being on here shows your strength and commitment to make a change. HUGS!!:)
£1.60 for me today
You know when I'm short of money what I live on? It's a monotous diet but better than an egg a day - porridge (cheap) for breakfast = approx 80p for the week (well longer for one person); cous cous (from asian store or approved foods) with veggies and what not for lunch and rice and lentils (again asian store) for supper with veggies/balsamic/cheap mayo/cheap curry sauce (basically whatever you have in)
Healthy balanced SOS diet for emergencies...if you have any spare eggs;milk and flour you can make pancakes real easy for dessert
Please note though this diet may cause weight loss that's notwhy I'm posting it. It's only intended for short term but it's very cheap and the stuff is mostly dried so it keeps for SOS weeksLittle_bit_dizzy wrote: »Thanks f_f, might pop in and have a mooch - we spend way too much on grub. How do you do the thing where the link becomes a word like you've done???? Clever
Maybe if your scales are a bit tempramental you should measure your progress by your clothes instead Erme. I became a bit too obsessed with weighing myself which is not good - go on how you feel rather than what the scales say!
Agree with S-A-M, eat less and do more. Joined a gym today to hoping that will speed the weight loss, a really good friend is getting married in the summer and I want to wear a really pretty dress I've seen. Not a dress kinda girl and the legs need toning (lots) if it's going to look right...
They were bad (as in 20lbs too light this morning)..I had a whoopsie and bought new batteries (£4)....
I also bought a pastry from coop - another whoopsie ...back on the popcorn tomorrow or pancakes...:)
So yeah my which sub still hasn't come out of Santander and may not come out till Mondayso I don't really want to do any padding till then...I want to have enough in for which and any other sos whoopsies (there's only about £20 in there right now) and then pad Monday pm rather than go into the OD more cos I've padded... I'd rather get used to not touching the OD than temporarily rewarding myself for padding only to go into the OD a week or so later
Does that make sense? It's a baby step I know but Rome wasn't built in a day....I will still PAD but maybe smaller amounts...we'll see

I believe in the power of PAD

Hiya folks!
Sorry I've been AWOL, but I have been PaDing...
Please put me down for £270 for the past few days. Trying to get as much into savings as possible before I have to raid them for our holiday in June. Looking forward to it though, and all work no play makes the Pixie a dull creature.
Hope all are well. I don't have time to go back and check all gazillion pages so I shall just sprinkle you all with pixiedust and hugs and be off.
