so looks like I'll be using up my SSP allowance and then going straight onto maternity leave. If anyone has any tips on how to cope with a £500 a month loss, please let me know! The debts are definitely going to have to take a back seat for a while
Hope the car works out for you S-A-M

I am left a little confused by your post but understand you dont want to tell everone your personal problems exactly and hope you can manage to sort things out soon.
I think the best way to loose weight is to cut out too much fat, unhealthy snacks and eat little and often and exercise regularly if your health allows. That is what seems to be working for me.
well done to those who have cleared another debt another £1.00 PAD for me today
I weighed myself and the scales were in a really good mood. ...I was ALOT lower after being the same or increase for days despite cutting out my unhealthy snacks and like exercising more...it was like 8kg if not more lower...is that the scales or me?
Or will I be loathing them again at silly o'clock..though my pj's (size 12-14) are tight when I'm 74kg and now they are baggy...so maybe I have lost something?

Thanks f_f, might pop in and have a mooch - we spend way too much on grub. How do you do the thing where the link becomes a word like you've done???? Maybe if your scales are a bit tempramental you should measure your progress by your clothes instead Erme. I became a bit too obsessed with weighing myself which is not good - go on how you feel rather than what the scales say!
Agree with S-A-M, eat less and do more. Joined a gym today to hoping that will speed the weight loss, a really good friend is getting married in the summer and I want to wear a really pretty dress I've seen. Not a dress kinda girl and the legs need toning (lots) if it's going to look right...I myself am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions...0 -

As for linking....
1. Decide where you're going to link to, I'm going to use the BBC website as an example.
2. Choose the text you want to use "Ooh look the BBC!" and type it
3. Highlight the text
4. If you're using the advance posting options instead of quick reply you should see a little symbol under the smiley face at the top which looks like a wee globe with a paperclip over it. Click it and when the address box opens type the URL for the website.
5. Hit enter and it should then look like this:
Ooh look the BBC!0 -
Gosh April already - where is the year going.
Was told at work yesterday that I will find out if my redundancy request has been granted on Wednesday 6th and that if it is I will probably go on Friday 8th:eek: My brain is whirling but I can't talk to anyone about it in the office. It's not doing my blood pressure any good at all:rotfl:
