    Hi all:j
Popping in to PAD £5 for Fri & £5 today making a PAD total of £10 for the day - tks Saorsie:D

Had the day from hell yesterday - got up to find the pilot light on the Aga had gone out in the night. Phone call to engineer didn't produce even a call back, let alone a visit, so the weekend with potentially no cooking/heating/hot water . Not so bad as its a bit warmer than it was:TThen had a phone call from accountant telling me the amount of tax due in Sept :eek::eek: Then to top it off, found a pigeon had come down the chimney & the mess in/on the hearth/rug everywhere else was terrible, especially after I got it down from its perch & put it outside:rotfl:

Ho hum I can see some serious frugalising needing doing. Deffo need to as had to go & purchase camping gas type burner as although have a micro/combi have no rings to heat up anything. Have immersion for hot water, luckily it is dry outside so washing out drying & we have an open fire (see pigeon story above!). Hopefully will get at least some contact from engineer Monday, gotta look on the bright side, must be saving on gas:rotfl:

Sashanut - well done, it must be very satisfying to have paid your friend back.

Don't know how to multiquote, but thanks to all who commented:D

I am very pleased as although it wasn't a loan -I bought some very expensive things off her when the business was doing well - I needed to pay her back as she'd waited an awful long time & kept dropping heavy hints. But I just didn't have the money to pay her as quickly as I should - so it's a great feeling to have it gone FOREVER:T
New start JAN15 - NOT BUYING IT 2015 . Long haul DFW #145 : 2011 DEBTBUSTING : £5500 OD GONE, £2000 OD - GONE £93,610.30 cc & loan debt - GONE 27.6.14 FINALLY DEBT & MORTGAGE FREE :happyhear
