I have the same payment in my bank, And like you did not know who it was from. But I believe it is a payment from Energy Help Line ? for using their site to swap Gas and Elec.

Which is a bonus cos I didn't even realise I was getting a payment from them. Swapped my tariff in December.

Did you do the same? :)

Just got to your post from googling "Ehl Cashback" as I got the same payment yesterday and had no idea who it was from.

I'm guessing they do them in batches? I'm not complaining :D

  • I think my PAD today will be £5.00 to the pot.

I'm a bit undecided how to play things for the next few months - do I keep paying the CC despite it being 0% til Jan 2012 (£3300) or should I whack the cash into another account and then Premuim Bond it once it gets to the £50 mark.

I quite like PB's as it's a bit like doing the lottery, but you get your money back win or lose. But I do want the card to be gone...

Answers on a postcard please! I'll have another glass of wine whilst I have a little think and shout at the Rugby.

    C'mon England

I'd either stick it in another account and hopefully earn some interest on it or buy your PBs but then cash them in when you need to to make sure you don't end up paying any interest.

    Payment A Day £15 (started 17/5/14) :j
  • Thanks Jue, that was sort of my thought too. Need to put it in the diary though so that like you say I don't pay any interest. I've spent all these years getting rid of the interest element of the debt - don't facy going back there again!!!

Where is everyone these days? It's rather quiet on the board at the moment isn't it? Hope everyone is ok and safe...

My PAD is £3.00 today Jue, to the 'Premium Bond Stash'. May be back with more later, once I've had enough coffee to get the grey cells functioning :D
