Morning, I know I have been absent for a while but I'm still here in the background slogging away. I can't always make a payment daily but the thread definitely keeps my mind focused.
Payday today and I've managed to pay £47.00 to my Halifax CC and £22.00 to my Barclaycard.... I used it during the month to buy petrol

I went online to my bank account earlier and there is an item that has been paid in today called EHL Cashback. It's for £15. I have not a clue what it's for. I've looked up EHL on the internet and there is Euro Hockey League, English Hockey League, some company that does ingredients for food, another that has something to do with nappies. Nothing I've read looks remotely like anyone I've ever done business with. The money has been paid into my personal account as a giro credit. I've been in touch with Santander and they can't tell me yet but they are going to trace it and write to me in about a week (yeah right). My main concern is that it isn't suddenly removed because I'm currently sailing close to the wind with my overdraft. I've no problem with returning it to its rightful owner but I don't want to forget about it in the coming weeks and it's suddenly gone and left me in unauthorised overdraft territory.
I have the same payment in my bank, And like you did not know who it was from. But I believe it is a payment from Energy Help Line ? for using their site to swap Gas and Elec.
Which is a bonus cos I didn't even realise I was getting a payment from them. Swapped my tariff in December.
Did you do the same?0 -
