    Good Morning All!

Welcome to all our newbies! :D

Edit: Oh yes, and we bought one of those new handheld Dyson's yesterday! We have some stairs which are a pain in the @rse to clean and two of my family members have it and rave about it. We went for the animal one though as my hairs have a habit of collecting on the rug and driving us nuts as they are a nightmare to clean up too. Is it sad to be excited about a domestic appliance? lol. I'm just thinking, we can also use it clean the sofa.

Oh, the sofa.......we need a new one. The current one has just started to wear away in one spot. We've put a throw over it for now to try and protect it, and make it last a little longer. To be fair, OH got it about 10 years ago now, but it's big and comfy! I don't want to replace it, but we're going to have to at some point.

On thursday of last week I had to get a new hoover (don't hoover anywhere near as often as I should but considering the last one came out of a skip and like lasted 6 months one shouldn't grumble) and like after 2 hours online research (and more than one pseudo reservation to argos/comet) I ended up with the white one out of the Bosch GS-60 range - it's like an elephant and huge and very good and considering I've emptied that bin about 4 or 5 times over the weekend (cos it sucks up so much stuff :T) I'm glad I didn't get bagged :)...You can get cheaper...the Mr JL is a Bosch but you have to use their bags and mine was £150...very quiet on the lower settings (the most I've really had it on is the middle one and I have long hair that gets everywhere)....so pleased with it...cheapest place I found for it was Mr JL @ £150 pre vat rise - don't know what it is now?

Anyone padders of the puniverse tee hee - cashback cheque finally cleared today so that's £80 on OD today (from the hoover and the new espresso machine...) :A...DV the OD will be cleared by the end of the month - but even so with putting 40 on it before Padding I'm about the 120 mark once everything has gone through and loan taken out :)

I posted this on the 'Loans' board, but thought I'd ask all the lovely PADders too as you really are a clever bunch!

I have just checked my online banking tonight to find that my Natwest personal loan has had 2 payments credited to it on 30th December 2010, which I know nothing about...

Each month, on the 1st I repay £384.57 from my current account. On the 30th Dec there are two credits posted; One for £65.01 and one for £169.61 (£234.62 together). The usual repayment has not yet been taken from my current account.

Now clearly, I have no objection to them reducing my loan - hey Natwest, take off as much as you want :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Do you think it could be something to do with the year end? I'll call them in the morning to try and establish what it's all about but just wondered if anyone had any ideas in the mean time?

    Thanks all,

    Diz :D

Sounds a bit like a mistake, someone could have imputted your a/c number in error. Has happened to me in reverse - was paying a complete strangers insurance as the bank had done this when setting up a SO. 'Tis the reason I check my account with avengence.

Hopefully I'm wrong though but with two payments it is very suss.
