Hi all, just £1 to Barclaycard today.

Back to work today for 2 shifts then off for another 2 days so not so bad. Think I've caught OH's sore throat though. :(

Euro, is the Dyson any good? We need to get a new hoover soon and don't have a clue what to go for. Think we'll need a pet one since 3 cats produce a lot of cat hair.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.

I woke with a sore throat yesterday and bit sniffly. Expected it to get worse, but it's just the same today, which is a good thing. Wonder if it's a bug I've already had so I'm just fighting it off again. Hope you feel better soon!

Well, it seems from the small amount we tried last night that it is very good. OH hoovered earlier in the day anyway, and then tried it on a small section of the rug and there was plenty of dirt that still came off! And my hairs! My bl00dy hairs!

The one we have is handheld and you can remove the part that the hairs get tangled around easily, so that you can easily removed them. We only got it last night, so can't give you much more detail than that, but will be trying it out some more tonight.

... even if its only pennies every day i think i would get some kind of sad satisfaction paying every CC a penny a day

It's one of the small things that I can do in my own small way - two fingers up to the banks - seeing a huge statement with 1p pads on it.:rotfl::rotfl:
£1 pad for me today to the spare change pot (note to self that's £3 now), and bloody hell, noooo...it's snowing! Again! Very light though....

Did you see the DIY SOS programme - it's on the iplayer and brings a tear to the eye. Brilliant for Mike and his family. And amazing what MSEr's can do as well. (hello Psycho  )... I love this site and the people on it.
