Thanks Erme. I did think about how to consolidate it somehow but I'm not sure how... cash advance on my CC to pay it off would cost more!

£5.22 to Simply Be for me today!
Can you compare the interest rate on the catalogue to the interest rate on your Barclaycard and maybe do a balance transfer?

Thanks for the counting FF - superb start to 2011, especially as money is tight for a lot of folk after Chrimbo. Doesn't Xmas seem a distant memory ?

Sorry I couldn't sneak this one in yesterday but today's pad is £220 - £10 to the furnishings fund and £200 to finish off the stamp duty pot :j That can sit and earn a tiny bit of interest whilst I debate when to start looking at flats...want to hold out for a couple of months yet.

OK just dug out the B/C and paid off Simply Be with it. The interest rate isn't too bad for purchases, under 10% I think. Much lower than Simply Be anyway!

ETA: I was pleasantly surprised with my B/C balance, it was about £50 lower than I thought. :)
