Morning all
Well I didn't PAD again yesterday as the food shop went a bit over budget rather than under:o Blooming kids seem to want feeding every day:p seriously though they are like locusts:rotfl:
So a PAD of £10 again to vanquis today, I can't wait for it to be gone, I know it's only a small debt (and the first of many I have to get rid of) but it'll be such a boost to see the back of it0 -
Hey
Not been on much lately or had much cash but have managed to still make small PADs just not posted themso
PAD £2.02
I'll be glad when it get to my CTAX free months.... Feb and March don't think i'll be able to use them for debt but it will give me a bit of breathing space rather than trying to find every available penny to pay the minimum payments
Am so glad i started this challenge tho as i would not have been as good about trying if i know i didn't have to come on here and declare what i've paid. Feel like my total is quite pathetic compared to some but im not including the minimum payments so to me its alot i've paid
Hugs to everyone that needs them

Make it easy to read by having short paragraphs, stops them from getting bored. Read sentences out loud and keep them short and snappy that way.
If you're bullet-pointing things that you've done, start the bullet points with "action" words e.g....
Instead of:- I have a degree in English

Millie's in the dog house again - am very annoyed with her :mad: she chewed my glasses up yesterday  Armani they were too - bought prelightbulb moment of course :A cost me over £200and now in the bin in bits!!!!!
I shouted at her and she went and did a poop in one of the bedrooms :mad::mad: bloody dogs and kids who'd have them!? Does anyone know where I can get cheap prescription glasses from? or where the best opticians to go to? ta
Also one of DS3's lizards died yesterdaythe other one is doing ok tho fingers crossed!
DS2 came home last night - his gf was being bitten by something, so they stripped the bed yesterday and the bed was riddled with bed bugs :eek:_pale__pale_ they've phoned the landlord and he's got someone going there today to fumigate the place - but like they said and I agree with them I wouldn't want to get back in that bed _pale_ - they'd just bought all the duvet/sheets/pillows etc yuck!!! Surely the landlord should replace them??
Pad today is £3 ISA and £3 cap1 pls

Yeah there is though I forget where it is...I got mine from glasses direct - designer for £20 - might be worth a looky(pardon the pun).....they were very quick on my basic prescription and came quickly and are goodTwinkles08 wrote: »Hello everyone,:)I would like to jump back on the wagon pad wagon please if your have me? When I was last on this thread,I was in the early stages of pregnancy, well little young lady is 1 year old next month! It's been a tough year, but a recent trip into hospital a few weeks ago with flu and pneumonia has actually put a few things into perspective for me.My family are precious and I need to secure our future.I want to clear this debt once and for all and I want to be in a position to apply for a morgage in say 5 years.(We have a low income so it will take awhile). It's lovely to see so many familiar faces,I doubt you'll remember me but I remember you.:jSo I'm starting today with a big pad of 419.96 which clears my husbands halifax credit card.(Our car was written off last month, when the neighbours builders drove into it:phence the lump sum).Anyway hello to all,big hugs
Yeah once debt is paid off and I've had a decent holiday and gotten a new decent washing machine that's what I want to do..I'm currently in social housing but it'd be nice to get my own wee place - doesn't really matter what it's like as this place was unfurnished but yeah I've really thought about what I'd like to do once debt is paid off and get my own pad is something I'm seriously consideringYesterday we managed a wonderful £1153.49
I'm normally rubbish at remembering all the chat from the thread, but well done psycho on being under 8k (whoop whoop!) and a great big welcome back to Twinkles! Don't forget, one of the "rules" of PAD is that you don't get to leave, so of course we remember you!
Does this mean we're chained to the railings like fred and freda elsewhere on hereThird day running for me ooo 'eck! AND over my overdraft limit... oops. Pay day Thursday/ Friday this week. But another DD out today of £137.91 to the HFC loan please F_F - thanking you kindly! Have a great day everyone... xx
Hugs Danko....euronorris wrote: »Originally Posted by Silaqui
I am annoyed today as I weighed myself at the gym last night and I have stayed EXACTLY the same - despite eating banana for breakfast, salad for lunches, and teeny tiny portions of dinner as well as going to the gym. So demotivating, how is that even possible? I have had the odd snack but literally 1 quality street every night, and considering I'm eating so much less anyway it shouldn't have made a difference. AAARGHH!!!
When I first tried to lose weight, i cut down my portions, tried to cut out junk, eat healthily and went to the gym. And I had the same problem as you.
So, I kept a food diary and realised I was eating more calories than I thought. Too much to lose lbs. Those odd little snacks tend to be laden with calories and fat, and they soon add up!
Not saying that is what's happened here, but keeping a food diary will help to recognise anything like that. Also, you can then keep an eye on nutrient levels (ie, is there enough protein, carbs, etc etc).
Gets a bit bl00dy boring though! And like Psycho says, muscle weighs more than fat.
I am still in agony from Shred on Sunday! Went to Qi Kwan Do last night, which was great fun. Exhausting, but boy did I enjoy taking all my stress out on the mats!!!!!
Hope everyone is well!
xx
Proud to be dealing with my
By the way this is my new 'deluxe' form of multiquoting that is still in trial and error phase so please be patient cos I have to put the right code in
It's easy once you get used to it..I did a free diet site for a few years and lost 5 stone:)...just try not to eat processed food...min cakes....kiddies choc (the stuff that's just 100 cals),kiddies crisps (again 100 cals) and cut out cheese and eggs - combined with 30 mins exerciser 3 x a week you're onto a guaranteed winner :TQuote:

Sorry hadn't noticed that either - so sorry green- hugs...hope things start to look up for you soon
So this is me - with some sort of wacky virus that means I can be fine one day and then have diarrhoea/fever and terrible aches the next then be fine the next....Had a mega whoopsie spend on Thursday when down (so that's more bashing of the OD so no PADding on the Loan on Tues - it'll all have to go on the OD)but otherwise plodding.....
Just sitting here trying to work my way through posts and aching and of course the whoopsie spend has mucked up sleeping and eating
