Hellooo:D I know its been a while. I bet you are, it makes me want to sell and move to a shiny new place too:p but then how long would that take. Its great buying new bits and bobs but it is a headache trying to find exactly what you want. The bedding you chose is lovely.

Have seen the sofas I want HERE and I have know I will be getting some discount on somethings.

I have access to discounts through WW and I can get 7% off at Currys (Fridge freezer, Washing machine, TV, hoover) 5% off at Homebase and 6% in Argos :D:D

Anyway thats about it for just now!

    Hi everyone
Well what a spendy weekend it has been!
Getting the keys to my flat day is less than 2 weeks away!
I went appliances shopping with my dad today and bought my fridge freezer, washing machine, TV and Blu-ray player and my hoover. Couldn't get my 1st choice fridge freezer or washing machine but the ones I have bought are just as nice!

A friend of our family's friend has a carpet business and he was kind enough to come and measure up and give me a price to fit the flat out with carpets and viynl the price is £868 cheaper than if I was to get them in the shop, and that includes everything like the underlay and fitting and metal cover thingys! :D
Oh and my parents are paying for the flooring and my Grannie is buying me my fridge freezer!! :j:T:D:T:j

I also spent lots of money on Amazon on the little bits and pieces although this was helped my £75 worth of vouchers!! :D

Virgin are arranged to come to the flat to fit up for my TV and Broadband as well.

In total so far on house things I have spent £3034.79 on things for the house!:eek:

I closed my Santander First Homebuyer account today as I am not going to have another chance before the 22nd as I am working full days 8am-6pm for the rest of this week and all of next week. I managed to gain £457.40 in interest over the time it was in there! :D

I hope you are all well

  • Hello lovely MSE peeps!

    House update :D

In single figure sleeps until I get the keys to my flat - I feel as though I have been waiting an eternity for this to happen and still doesn't feel real yet! BUT I'm SO EXCITED!!!!!:j:D:j

I went to sign my life away at the solicitors today and everything is good to go next Friday! :D (That's only 9 sleeps!) They are emailing me bank details and the like for where to put my deposit.

If all goes to plan I get the keys on the 22nd, carpets fitted on 25th hopefully get my bed brought over on the 25th or 26th, electrical goods arriving on the 27th along with car MOT that day too! 28th Virgin TV being installed and the dentist  I am hoping to be in by the Friday 1st March or Saturday 2nd March :D

I have also managed to get the week of the 25th February off of work as holidays :j

And that my friends is all!
