I was shocked because I wasn't expecting him to notice. He has been a friend for ages and is someone I can turn to, to talk to when I need to let off steam! We do alot together - cinema, gigs and lunch mostly he is a great company. We take it turn about for lunches and cinema payments.

Sounds like the sort of friend I need! Determined to get myself out there this year. Have lost touch with all my mates when they left to go to uni and left me here hehe.Life is what you make it.0 -
Hey Palema, great new diary. Fingers crossed nothing too bad crops up this year and you can save quite a bit for your depost. With regards to the e-reader don't set asside the kindle for now, you can infact purchase books from anywehre for it and then convert them using the calibure software, I know there are certain formats you can't but certainly not all. Worth thinking about as the kindle is the cheapest e-reader on the market just now
Good luck *subscribes*...0 -

Hey PaP
:hello: Welcome to my little diary
I keep swaying between the Kindle and Sony so will remember your advice keep my options open.
I am hoping to save as much as possible towards my deposit and not touch the money in my savings accounts apart from what they are there for ie- Car, POD accounts. Previously I was putting money into savings and then taking them out during the month when I over spent!
Hoping to get some babysitting in as well over the next month or 2 before the Speedway season kicks off again, then it will be babysitting when NOT going to away matches with the Speedway at the weekends!!

You need to decide which one is right for you. When you have saved some pennies visit a John Lewis as they sell all e-readers then you can have a play.
Ahh but we all need to have our little hobbies while we are paying off debt/saving. You will prob get many more booking after the speedway season too

Let me know if you're coming to Ippo &/or Rye House - I'll almost certainly be at the first in any case, and can easily get to the second (15 minutes away from here!) - I'd even support your lot against Rye, but NOT against the Witches!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thanks PaP
I will do. Might pop into JL on way to Theatre tomorrow just for a look!
Speedway season runs from March until end October, I usually go to weekend away matches if I can afford it, especially locally ie Glasgow, Berwick, Newcastle, as I go with my dad and other friends and usually don't have to pay petrol money
Babysitting usually gets quiet around July (School holidays) up here then busy in August (due to Edinburgh Festival) then come November and through Christmas period so definately plenty of babysitting to be had if I get the bookings in
