That's a long day for you, when do you finish babysitting?
I'd taken to making up batches of my homemade pizza/pasta sauce then freezing them in individual sandwich bags so they could just get thrown in the deep-freeze in little spaces, I should really start doing that again so when I'm peckish I can bung it in the micro.
Hope your cold's better soon!
Thankfully they came home at 10.20 so I am now home and have the electric blanket on to heat me up!!
Usually my mum has pasta sauce in the cupboard but not today, will have words tomorrow when I see her :rotfl:
I can feel the start of the dreaded cough (with me this usually lasts about 8-10 weeks even when I get a cold and even after the cold has gone, so my inhalers are now being doubled up )

Hi everyone
 Happy Dance
Apart from feeling freezing cold and generally yuk in myself I am having a great Saturday
The reasons are as follows:
~ I lost 1.5lb's at Fat club today that means 1lb to get to goal
~ When I got my iPhone at the end of June 2010 I was given a 18 month £10 loyalty discountTotally fab as I took out the lowest tariff I could which was the 24 month £25 a month contract so technically would be paying £15+other costs keeping my bill at around £20-£25 per month. In October I had a higher bill, which I was expecting as I was in Poland and I was using my phone over there. However I have ended up with a £30 bill since then.
I checked my online billing and they had removed the discount
So today I called them, after finding my paperwork, and the lovely girl on the other end of the phone is getting me the discount backdated and refunded to me and reissued onto my account until the expiry date of January 2012, she said her line manager did not know why it had been taken off, but it would be rectified today :j:j
Off babysitting again tonight so some extra money again - next week the big budget begins!!
Today's spends
£3 chocolate offer for my chocolate stash that will last me for a couple of weeks
Have a great Saturday all

Hi everyone
NSD number 10 today
Feeling not to bad in myself, apart from the cough doing my head in and chest hurting like hell each time I bark
Only one of my relisted items sold yesterday on eBay but that's OK as it another item not cluttering up my room!!
In money news I got a Postal Order for a group of Lithographs I sold on eBay and it cleared in my account today - so I payed off a few things on my CC that I added there for eBay sales, bubble wrap, envelopes, paper and my new boots
I was also able to put a little £5 into my ISA towards my house savings. :T
My half day from work tomorrow :j:j Picking the little girl I look after up from school so an extra surprise trip to visit my Grannie is in order me thinks!

I take it you get a different half day each week?I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. I take it you get a different half day each week?
Yeah we work 35 hours a week but only get half hour for lunch, which is more than enough for me. We get the rest back in a half day each week.
We get 1 friday in about 4/5 where possible and the rest of the time its generally when your room is quiet - the problem with the area I work in just now is 1 of the girls is on holiday this week, and I work directly with 2 part timers so I need to get my half day when they are in so tomorrow it is. We generally find out a week in advance so if I need to make appointments you can do it on your half day instead of asking for time off. We can request certain shifts on a specific day or a specific half day.
It does work pretty well.
