Yes, definitely feel you did the right thing staying with her Palema - considering you are working in an environment where you would think they would want people to be caring and considerate, I'm shocked you got in trouble with your work really!

Hope everything is going to plan other than unwanted spends from pesky hospital parking. Totally agree that it ought to be free - it's apalling that for a lot of people, at a time when they are already worrying frantically about a family member, they are also put in a position where they have additional money worries to add to that.

    Hello! I didn't realise you had a diary :)

Well done on the weight loss, I'm trying to cut back the fizzy juice right now as that's the main thing that's keeping it piled on me, all those empty calories! Don't want to go cold turkey though or I'll get a caffine headache and that ain't pretty.

I completely agree with your decision to stay with the woman in a&e, kidney stones are an awful thing to have and I'm sure she was glad for you being there.

    :hello: DBG
    Welcome to my madness!!
I drink Caffine Free Diet Coke as too much diet coke gives me headaches

We were really busy at work yesterday and really didn't think about that - especially when there is a staff to child ratio, it was pretty stretched and with me not being there it made things difficult, that's why I got into trouble and that's OK I wasn't thinking about my job which I should have been.

  • Hi everyone
    I'm a little excited!:dance::dance:

Of the 40 items I had listed for today on eBay only 6 didn't sell, 34 sold making a grand total of £134.32 before fees for today :D
Now I have 20 more items that finish tomorrow and of those 5 have bids so far.

My next dilemma iPod replacement or ebook reader?!! At this present moment in time I am swaying towards the iPod as I have a stack of books sitting waiting to be read just now!
Still babysitting just now and need to contact 2 buyers once I work out postage cost for their items as they have bought multiple items so am going to discount the P&P.

Hope you are all having a great night
    P :D

    I know!! :D
Couldn't believe it as it was totaling up as each thing sold - I had 30 Disney Lithographs that I got free when I bought the Videos/DVDs over about a 15 year period and all bar 2 of them sold which I was really surprised about.
It just shows you what is one persons rubbish is another persons treasure!! :T

  • Well done P :j What a great result and with the free listing I guess that helped even more. I would spend teh money on something you will use at this present time, if you have books yet to use a ipod would be more understanable. The only thing I will say is apple usually bring out thier new generations (modals) in June/July so it mayube worth you waiting until then to either get a new/better one or the current ones on sale. Thats unless you can't wait :rotfl:

    Good lusk for tomorrow ;)
