Hi Palema

Sorry to hear that you haven't been too well. I've just caught up with your diary ( I really must try harder to keep up with everyone).

Congrats on the no mobile bill for this month. I'm watching your signature and I must say that you are doing very well.

I'm also looking forward to seeing your big budget post. Great Diary so far.:T

Hi everyone
Well here it is its PAYDAY!!!!:j:j:j:j
Been feeling pretty sh*tty all day :( and my voice is still on holiday :(

My Budget this month is as follows:

Monthly income after tax - £1304.44
Current Account Reward - £5.00
Plus some babysitting - tomorrow I'm babysitting for a couple of kids from work and their 2 older siblings. There is also the money from my taking a little girl to and from school as well will post when I get the money :)

Account fee - £13 (£0.50 into ISA)

Rent - £200
Mobile phone- £0 (£50 into ISA) :D:j
Cinema Card - £14 (£0.50 into ISA)
Speedway support - £10
Total - £224
Savings accounts

Santander 1st Homebuyer - £300 (2nd of the Month)
ISA - £100 + £127 (£76 over-time and £50 mobile phone money :D) Oh and the £1 previously stated!

ISA - £252
Holidays and Social - £110

Work Christmas savings - £10

So that's it everything in Black and White I know the numbers don't totally add up but I am aware of it and it is what I worked out with the budget to the nearest £10.

I have decided to fill my car up £20 at a time and any money left over I will put into my car savings account JUST INCASE!! (A full tank cost me £37 the last time I filled my car up - so the £20 should last me a week to a week and a half)

February Events
~ I have a speedway social night next weekend which will cot me about £15 -£20 (away highlights DVD - Its important!!) and entrance money

~ Going to see Maroon 5 on 22nd February (Adam Levine = YUM YUM!!!! :D)

Other than that will be the usual spends this month - I have to do a boots shop for things that are not in my toiletries challenge and will be needed this month.

Doing my budget this way I will hopefully stick to it.

Have a great weekend all

1. [strike]To pay off my pink friend aka the CC!![/strike] :D Done before Christmas 2010 :j
2. Save, Save and Save some more for a house deposit! (Hopefully have a decent deposit by late 2012) :)
3. Put ALL my babysitting money into savings for my house deposit.
4. Try to leave all savings in their accounts instead of dipping into them each month.
5. Keep using my phone app to keep track of my spending. ( I use it constantly anyway as its a great way of seeing how much I am spending and on what!)

ND FINALLY - Not so much DFW
6. [strike] Get to my goal weight at WW [/strike] (So close – as of 18th December 2010 I was 2lb from my goal weight!!) ACHIEVED 29/01/11 :j:j
