Good news on getting a tutoring client. I'm sure the first one will be the hardest, and then they will all want you.

Mobiles - DH bought me one a couple of years £10 for a PAYG handset. There should be some about if you need one. I don't have any old ones myself on orange or i would have posted you one.

I have an unlocked N0kia you can have if you pm me your address.

I won't be able to post it until next Saturday, though, so understand if you need one sooner :(

Great. Glad to be shut of it, actually. I bought it in Oz when I was there last year, but it wasn't the most MSE purchase in the end, and I hate it so never use it!

I'll post it asap, but like I said, it's not likely to be before Saturday.

Glad it will help you out :)

Right the weekend is upon us and I couldn't be more grateful. It was open evening last night so I didn't get home until 10pm. Very tired.

A busy weekend though and so bed soon. Up at 5am to get washed and ready in time for the rugby. GO WALES!!!! Then we are off into Manchester to go to the Emigrate expo. We would love to move to another country (in honesty I never wanted to return from the US...stupid visas). So that's all pretty exciting! :D

Had my first tutoring session with my first client. His mum has written me out a cheque in the name I asked her too (business account name). Then when I got home I've just realised - I forgot to set up the business account!!!! Doh!! So I need to organise that as a matter of urgency. The best account I can find is the Santander one, but I can't set it up online, there must be a fault with their webpage. I'm out all tomorrow, they are closed on Sundays and I won't get home in time during the week to do anything about it. I'm a little stressed about this fact!! I would imagine I'm better cashing this cheque sooner rather than later. Doh!

Ooh also, have been offered some November Physics marking! Woop woop. Looks like I have to go to London for the standardisation which is a bit of a pain though. :( On the plus side, my bessie has been offered Chemistry marking and has to go to the exact same place on the same date!! So we might have a little London weekender ahead of us! Woop woop.

Sepa 74 the mobile came today - you are a legend. Thank you so much. On a related note my business cards arrived today as well - very exciting! :D

Got a wonderful letter from the building society today reminding me that my interest rate changes next month, drops by over 1% woop woop. It's so exciting because it means that I should now be able to hit my below 29K before 12/12/12!! My interest per day should also reduce down to £3.71 next month as well. I'm SO excited it's not normal! :j

Right a question for the teachers of the forum. I'm on M5 currently and am starting to think about Threshold. I was assistant curriculum leader last year (mat cover), this year I'm Pupil progress leader for science (this is my new perm TLR), and I'm lead teacher of psychology. Is Sept next year the earliest I can apply?

Tutoring session 2 done and dusted. It went so quick this week!! Really no thought into it by comparison to last week...that first session is a killer. This week I had it timed to a T. :D Feeling proud of myself over it as well. Now if only my business account would hurry up and open (I only put the stuff in the post on my way home at 4.30pm)...I could start watching the pennies ticking over. :D
