I did do my year 11 reports in the end...I'm such a loser. It was options evening at school tonight and so no thinking about money making or saving....I'm pooped. However, I got to publicise Psychology and it looked as though it was really popular - I'm really quite excited and nervous all at once!!
Having trouble with Belle according to DH. She has started getting very skittish around children and youngsters - and for the first time started barking at another dog with her hackles up!! I wasn't there and she's never done that with me I was quite shocked. Looks like more doggy classes are on the horizon to see if we can get her to be more predictable. I'm still shocked. Wonder if her stay in kennels has prompted this. Hmmm...
DH has stayed at home mainly because he's still on US time. I'm really annoyed with him to be honest. I'm tired too but I'm trying to force myself to stick back to normal UK time. He however has been staying up all night messing with the internet, waiting till I go to work and then going to bed. I just don't get why he's not trying to adjust back. Idiot. I still love him though and him being here actually saves us money so I shouldn't complain really.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Have you got the one to one tuition at your school? I do it at mine after school in my classroom :English and Maths. 25.56 an hour! I am lucky as I have already taught the children so know them really well - you get 2 hours prep time on top of 10 hour block.:rotfl:0

There was one for Maths but that is REALLY not my thing. I can't do GCSE level Maths to save my life. Aside from that...no. Anything we do for science after school is off our own backs. Would be lovely to get paid for it though.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Right a rather long and tiring week at school. So much so that I slept for 3 hours when I got home, which is probably why I'm I'm only just thinking of bed now. Going to try and work on that list tomorrow. Some of the things on it are easy enough to tick off, so should look better by Sunday.
Good news is car hire that was accidentally double booked because the web page didn't load, is going to be refunded. So that is nearly 500 quid back. Also vets have sent off the claim form to the insurance company, so that will hopefully turn into another 415 quid we will get back - all being well. That would go towards credit cards etc rather than the mortgage though...priorities etc. Technically I could put it into isa since cards are 0% interest, but I could do with the boost of getting rid of one of the cards. I know I'm not making the best use of the money though.
I am off school on Monday because dh is having an operation on his elbow...so another 4 day week for me. However, looks like I'm going to have to call in work to say I will be late in on Tuesday as well. Called the new doctors I changed to about the flu jab. 9am on Tuesday is the only time they can do it. With all the sickness I've had over the last year or so and my asthma they really want me to have it, but they are nearly out. All the places you can buy it from are also out. So seems sensible I get it done really. Doh! Right time for bed.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Slept for 8 hours straight...like the dead it would seem. DH was moaning about the bad night he had with Belle, apparently she was whinging at 6am...she needed a wee it would seem. I was oblivious...:rotfl:
Anyway, just did another "cone" survey and checked survey accounts, I'm up to £6.50 in OnePoll (rubbish) and £21.50 in you gov. I need to make sure I check these more often really and keep on top of surveys, especially OnePoll. Got a MS tonight though which will give us a free tea and me some money. I can't blooming qualify for most of the MS's I've been looking at though or they are too far away.
I tell thee, making extra money without getting an actual second job is just not easy is it! I really really hope I get some exam marking this year because it cost me £77 to fill my car on Wednesday and I can't keep that up indefinately without any extra cash coming in. I'm just concerned what with the pay freeze for teachers etc and me losing my TLR allowance in September I'm on for a pay reduction...
There is talk of a PDL role becoming available at school, but I'm unsure what my chances of getting something like that would be. I do have a meeting with one of the Assistant Heads next week to find out more about the role though because I'm brown nosing basically to let them know I'm ambitious...is that bad? :rotfl:Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Started to try and do my SOA and then the computer crashed!
I've not done anything off my list because I've been sorting things out for the pup!! Bought her some food (15kg), a ramp for the car, a kong (a necessity for when I'm at work), a new toy (she killed her last few), and some wormer.
We've kinda been fussing her a lot as well. Bit naughty because I know it's going to turn her into a mard !!!!....but what can you do. She's soooooooooooo pretty.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Ok so did my first phone call recording MS for tea tonight...can't check it out though because the phone call part hasn't been imported yet. Doh! But I shall hopefully get £3.50 for it and reimbursed £10! All adds up!
Right going to attempt to do SOA since next door are playing music VERY loud and I'm not going to be able to sleep for a while yet. Fingers crossed it doesn't crash this time!!!Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
