It's not that intriguing or exciting.
I'm just not normally good around new people IRL for the first (or second or third) time, and new experiences terrify me more than a little bit
So meeting up with someone I'd only ever spoken to on the Internet / on the phone / by text was a bit nerve wracking to say the least
(and the temptation to bottle out at the last moment was pretty strong too!)
But I shouldn't have worried, as it felt like we'd been friends for aaagggggeeeeessssCheryl0 -

Aww, that's so cute!Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

A massive thank you to lynzpower and wornoutmumoftwo for the respective links after my comment about baking. I only considered it a pipe dream and so never really looked into it. I've read so much over the last two days and am feeling so motivated. I think I might actually be able to do it I've got that butterflies feeling you get when something's exciting but unnerving too!!
YAY!
ok i have a fab recipe for really frugal crispy pizza base:
2tsp dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon caster sugar ( we used normal granulated, its cheaper!)
3/4 cup warm water
2 cups plain flour (we use value type)
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil ( properly measured, not too much
( then it says 3 tablespoons extra but we dont bother
Water, dry yeast and sugar in small dowl to get fermenting
stir flour & salt in larger bowl
stir in the yeasty water and the oil then bring it together by hand kneading it in knead for 5-10 mins ( i did 5 mins in the kenwood chef with dough hook- it was fine)
then knead it round turning it round per quarter as you go
place dough in lightly oiled bowl and leave t somewhere warmish till it doubles in size ( kitchen worktop eg)
pull the dough out of the bowl press air out a bit and pull into pizza shapes. they say do it on a BBQ but i do it on an oven sheet at about 220. I top with sauce made from chopped toms, whatever left over veg and sometimes a shred of meat if there is any around. Mozzerella i use the cheapie value one.
this makes loads and would easily feed a family of 4, more if you had sometrhing like jacket pot with it.
Its in thw womans weekly Australia book which is lovely and full of v posh not frugal food like scallops and oyster lol:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Not so sure about that - the cost of petrol will soon add up on the 80 mile round trips !!! In fact, one round trip costs me considerably more than the add-on to my phone contract :eek:Lily_The_Legend wrote: »
