Actually I really must go and search out some every day lunch and dinner ideas that are healthy and filling. If anyone has any recipes (veggie or that could be adapted to being veggie) that might fit the bill then I'd love to hear them!

just so u are aware, what you see online is not always upto date, even though u might see the last txt/call u made, it can take up to 7 days for all your activities to come through, although in the UK, we are a lot quicker, but i have seen it happen (ex-mobile fone technical support worker).. the reason it happens is that your message may 'travel' through more than one mobile companies cell site, and your mobile fone company has to wait until the other one confirms they recieved the message! (bit like when you go abroad, and the can take 3 months to come through, sometimes 4!)
But I've already used a fair few texts on the 'free link-up' today, so I do at least have some spare to respond to messages from my DD nowCheryl0 -
Hi
I go with the calender month for working out my budgets
Apple mint : the tea bread sounds lovley if you ever get the chance the recipe would be nice to add to my collection:)
Mum did the shopping tonight and got some 1/2 price items in M & *
some of them were :
choc chip muffins x 4 = 50p
6 american pancakes = 50p
sweet & sour & rice meal for one £1.50
there were other items but our local store tend to reduce things to half price at around 6pm the problem is now lots of people have realised this so it can be a bit frantic - but we have a rule that says unless we will eat it then it's left :T:T
and it's great that we have reached the 100 mark now :j:jEmma :hello:0 -
check your fone and see if it hasa txt/sms counter and a call time counter, just got to rememeber to set it every month, and then you have a more realistic number to work with (can still be out, as txts can take 3 days to deliver, and they might not go through til after your bill have been calculated.)Living Simply, not simply living.Weight Loss - 5b/55lb

Technially this belongs on the Planning thread but I have a feeling that would be a bit like talking to myself! Just a little update from me for anyone who might have been interested, I have been offered the job
I don't know the details of the pay yet but I'm starting to think about how much is realistic to live on. I hope to join you all by February 2011, that will give me time to get the details and work out where my pay will be going. Until then I'll be doing some temping work to tide me over, so it would be nice to live off that money until my first pay day instead of dipping into my savings.
It would be a dream to max out my ISA allowance for this year by April, realistically this isn't going to happen though. I only just rediscovered it in about October so I've been doing my best since then to get a decent amount put away. Once I've got my wage coming in regularly each month I think I want a standing order set up to make sure what I don't need is put away immediately before I can be tempted to spend it on something.Thank you competition posters!

:j Yay for 100 members!! :j
I've had a dreadful couple of days
Car repairs cost £288.82
Went a little overboard with cake baking supplies: £66.41 (but all good quality, long-lasting basic kit, so definitely not wasted)
Decided to try out some of my new 'toys' and my electric whisk broke! £20.41 for a replacement today (was £19.99 - silly VAT hike!)
Finally, two days of poor time management meant £3.08 spent on snack food to keep myself going after far too long between meals. V annoyed with myself about those.
Total Spent: £378.72 in 2 days! :eek::eek::eek:
So much for being ahead with the budget :rotfl:
A massive thank you :j to lynzpower and wornoutmumoftwo :A:Afor the respective links after my comment about baking. I only considered it a pipe dream and so never really looked into it. I've read so much over the last two days and am feeling so motivated. I think I might actually be able to do itI've got that butterflies feeling you get when something's exciting but unnerving too!! :T:T
I've nothing planned for tomorrow so may hunt around for ebay-able items....I'm a real novice though
Happy frugal-ing to you all
