Cheryl quick SoW question...... You know how you can "freeze panes" in a spreadsheet to block out some columns - can you do the same with the tabs at the bottom?:D thanks
    Not that I'm aware of.

When I've finished with a month I move them to the 'end' of the spreadsheet so that the current month is closest to the Totals page.

The easiest way (for me) is to right mouse click on the tab with the name in, and then select 'Move' and then 'to end' when the pop-up window appears.

You can also click and hold and then drag it to the end, but due to the number of pages in the SoW I find this slow and painful by comparison ;)

  • I am extremely upset by the comments made by Ceridwan regarding Diddly's suspected pregnancy. I have seriously considered pressing the report button.
I really dont think we should be "advising people " of abortion options on this site. It came across that abortion was being "promoted" here, and i think this was an extremely insensitive comment to put on a forum.

I now feel that i no longer want to post on this site because of this appauling post.

Diddly this is not aimed at you, i feel for your situation.

I have not ruled out reporting this post and at this moment in time i feel like i no longer want to be a part of this forum.

    That looks yummy. :T
P.S. Redglass - your location status had me howling tonight. Do you live at my house????

Sometimes I'm not even sure I live at this one...I wrote that because of a woman in the next road who walks by looking like this  because my garden isn't tidy. She makes me laugh - I mean, how would she react if I'd really done something AWFUL? I'm generally law-abiding and social-minded but there are limits to how much gardening you can manage when you're a single person with multiple jobs and an allotment, no help, very little time, whereas Mrs Garden Police goes up and down with her OH trotting alongside, carrying her shopping for her in case she strains herself. :rotfl:

I'm not a praying type, Erme, but I'm beaming good thoughts to you. Lost things usually turn up, let's hope that's the case with your dongle.

Mmm, have just treated myself to a lovely G&T...ambrosia.

In all fairness, all I think that she was trying to do was remind Diddly that she has options, which is true. She wasn't promoting, just reminding.

That post may not be to everyone's taste, but censoring people because you don't agree with them leaves a much worse taste in my mouth.

Ooh they look delicious slowlyfading :T Well done.
Am truly humbled and TBH having you guys here is really helping me. The first thing I did last night was log on as I knew you were all here for me. Thanks again. :)

Aw what a lovely thing to say miss empty piggy. It's true though isn't it, and everyone is so genuine and caring in their posts.

Things might be a bit tighter than thought here. I have a worrying feeling that I might be pregnant. Its not something either hubby or I have planned for or really want at this juncture of our life. We have 2 wonderful daughters already (11 and 8) and having just gone thru a year of bankruptcy and upheaval I only have 12 months left until I qualify as a nurse.
A test will be a purchase today (when the kids aren't about to ask questions) So not even a NSD tomorrow for me!

Hi diddly. I hope everything turns out ok for you tomorrow. I know exactly how you feel. A couple of years ago we were in the same situation and as I'm now in my mid forties, with ours all grown up, I was dreading it, though a little teeny tiny part of me thought, well if I am we'll cope, as always. Anyway I wasn't and shortly after OH was marched to the docs then the hospital were a lovely doctor was waiting with two large bricks in each hand!
And you know whatever happens we'll be here to support you :)

What a brilliant image! Hopefully Mr Lizzie is fully recovered now ;)
  • Flying-Fresian- This is not a site for informing people of there "options" for matters like this.
I think it would of been more appropriate if Diddly would have asked for such advice, and from how i read the post, she clearly did not.

    Fair enough, it's your opinion.

I'm not going to discuss it any further as Diddly was probably not expecting this to be discussed following her post. All I was saying was that I personally found nothing offensive about Ceridwen's post.

If you don't like what people post, don't reply to their posts. Flaming people is unnecessary.

Hi Laushappy. I think you can contact marie stopes even if you just want to have a really good chat about things and about the situation you are in, not necessarily culminating in a termination. As I said we were in a similar position and thank the Lord I wasn't but before I did the test I already knew we would just get on with it if I was, even though I would have been in my forties. Everybody has different views though, not always right, not always wrong. But this is why I love this thread. We can support each other regardless of our own personal views :)
    Please do continue to post.

  • Just updated the SoW, not pleased with the reality that the annual budget is nowhere near enough, but VERY pleased that this Excelphobic is managing to make sense of it at all.

I had 500 litres of oil delivered before Christmas but didn't pay for it until 7 January. Just had another 500 litres and won't pay for that until 4 March. I can't decide if it should go in the month it was delivered (and therefore started to be used), or when it was paid for, which is what actually affects the budget. What's everyone else doing?
