Excellent!! I have put it in the breadmaker- not feeling optimistic though, think Ill try by hand next time! Am batch cooking some pasta for the next few days- lunches/dinners at work etc. Im also going to try my very best not to spend a penny in the shops this week- apart from ham for school & Milk for baby. got all my fruit and veg from Aldi the other day so should be fine!!

Ruby hun....I envy the people that are perfectly satisfied with bricks that came out of the days of Noah for phones..so don't beat yourself up hun...
:rotfl:Erme it's not that old it's a perfectly decent Samsung that I've had for about four years now! I'm used to it now and it does me just fine. The camera on it isn't good but I've now got a brilliant digital camera after my trusted Olympus finally gave up the ghost after twenty four years! Here dead we lie because we did not choose

You are making me feel more and more inclined to get rid of the nolonger used bread maker that has been lurking for years but I'm going to try just the dough in it first. It's a bit temperamental anyway!alec_eiffel wrote: »Hi,
If it makes you feel any better our bread is far nicer made by hand than in the breadmaker, we didn't get on with it at all. DH is the bread maker in our house and he has just looked over my shoulder and said he never uses milk or milk powder in his loaves so you should be ok to crack on without! Here dead we lie because we did not choose

Who/why/when?!
Do we need to send a posse out?!
Go onto the CC board and look at a post called 'problem' - it has been very much edited since then, but the OP is the person in question...Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Think it's been removed - I subscribed this morning and the thread has disappeared - good riddance to bad rubbish ! :mad:Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0 -
Oh no SF, that's rotten! Hope you can just ignore them - and report them to Abuse if need be. xslowlyfading wrote: »Ah, the joys of having abusive PMs sent to me...
Ouch Kezlou - hope you recover soon because that sounds nasty and painful. Hope you can take it a bit easy and be looked after. I think you are great looking at the good things in your life - and that will help keep you sane while times are tough. The sewing/quilting group sounds fab - not only do you learn a useful skill but it has biscuits!Hi everyone!
How are you all?
Well not sure how i'm going to do this challenge now. Been keeping track but we've had some unexpected turn of events.
OH lost his job today, basically there's been no plumbing work. so his boss has to let him go. so were using this weekend to decide whether to go self employed or sign on the dole.
I also managed to do myself in again, i collapsed on Wednesday and ended damaging my knee cap again. so now my leg is in a splint and i'm back on crutches. So no hope of me finding a job for the next few weeks.
On the plus siide, i found a sewing / quilting group which is once a week, and the woman who runs it has offered to show me how to use my sewing machine. I'm so chuffed
, so if i;m well enough i go back on Monday for a workshop. It costs £2.50 for a 3 hour session, but it includes drink, biscuits, instructions, discounts of material and free workshops. I'm the youngest one there by about 30 years but the people who go are lovely and so helpful.
Take care hon, x Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far!
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!
