$1124 is £730 between 2 people which makes the flight £550pp.

It is £612 on the BA website so there is a saving, assuming the hotel price above includes the tax of 12%.

Hotel price does not include tax (plus they didn't say how many people were travelling - lots do go to LV solo!).

for anyone who fancies a splurge over christmas, BA are having a short Club World sale. You can get business class to LAS for £1006 - must travel out between 20/12 and 31/12 and back by 12/1. Have to book by 5/12. This is more or less 50% off the normal cheapest club price.

They also have holidays with these prices - e.g. Club flights plus 6 nights at Luxor £1136 per person or £1271 at Cosmo.

    Book at BA.com

Given it's winter, I'd go for an SUV (4x4). Hertz have a 15% offer for the US at the moment - use CDP 750885. They have rental offices at many Casinos (I am collecting at Wynn and returning to Planet Hollywood).

I am paying £179 incl all insurance and 1 tank of petrol for a long weekend - Thursday to Tuesday. (Could have had an economy car using that CDP code for £92). Alamo was a lot more expensive for those dates.

    Carhire3000, Netflights etc

Cheapest 4x4 I could find on carhire3000 was £150, but that was without the free tank of fuel, so not much in it, and with Hertz I was able to pick up and drop off at the 2 casinos I am staying in. Given I am going to Death Valley, I'll definitely be using the included tank of petrol.

If you book on ticketsmaster, don't forget the 40jers code for $40 off Orchestra seats - plus you can select the seats you want to sit in rather than being allocated them by the system.
