Looking with a bit of help for getting to the Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas (is this what everyone calls the Primm outlet?). I had planned on going the same day we go to the grand canyon, but we won't arrive back until about 12 and the bus times on the outlet website aren't that great because of this. I was just wondering if there was another way to get there and back? I don't really know what I would be looking at to try and find out myself.

As Bubble says GC and Primm in one day, to much IMO, why go to Primm rather than the 2 fashion outlets in Vegas, its a long time since I have been to Primm but AFAIK know they are all much the same.
There is also town square, more upmarket but most stores have had sales on when I have been

Agree with the others - that's a lot to do in one day, it may fall into the 'overplanning' category unless there's a specific store there that doesn't appear at the outlets in Vegas. We like a side-trip to Primm but we drive...the casinos there make it more interesting than other outlets, and the rides - even if the roller coaster nearly killed me...but with a shuttle you'll be limited in terms of time - may be enough, but probably not to explore the other stuff.

But for the price of one ticket to Primm you could buy 2 all-day passes for the bus that would get you to either or both of the Vegas outlets - and you could go on your own schedule and not be tied to a shuttle...worth looking through the list of shops at all of them and see if one of them covers everything you might be looking for.

You can print a voucher for a book of coupons for both (and Primm) here:

And if you sign up for the VIP club on the Premium Outlets website, you can access and print additional coupons for a number of stores (thanks to Luci for that tip!)

It does seem that Primm has more/better stores than I remember from our last trip...we had been talking about making a trip there in Feb so maybe we will now. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

  • Hi all,

Thank-you so much for all the tips you have thoughtfully given on this thread. I followed this thread in the run up to my trip to Vegas last month and have a great time. As with all Vegas trip, I won some, then lost it all shopping at the Outlets! :)

What I will say is, Cosmo Hotel and Casino. My friend and I signed up, we opted for the "Wheel of Fortune" spin as the sign up bonus, he won $5 and I won $500!! we figured a way to extract the cash from playing the machines rather than play it all as free play credit (which they give you if you win anything on the Wheel of Fortune). So I was $500 up, amazing! I was really chuffed. He then did the $100 back thing the next day too, so it's possible to do both promtions. I tried to do the same. I stuck $100 on red on the roulette machine and won another $100, so called it quits! He lost his $100 and got it back with free play credits. So no harm done there.

Anyway..... I have two TotalVegas Coupon books to give away. We got these signing up at one of the casino, so for those peeps that aren't that bothered with signing up and all that malarky, I am giving away my coupon books. Inside there are vouchers for:
Caesers Palace, Palnet Hollywood, Paris, Flamingo, Rio, Harrahs, Ballys, Imperial Palace, Bills, O'Sheas. The vouchers are pretty good, show 241s, buffet 241s, buffet offers, cafe/ bars 241 drinks etc (there is one voucher missing, we used one :) )

If anyone wants the pair of books, then please PM me, with the title "I'm going to Vegas Baby!" in the PM title and a number between 1 and 100. The person with the closest number gets them, I'll send them out 1st class to you. A bit like an online lotto!

Hope these are of use to someone..... :)

Could you share it with us?
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Hey everyone. Thanks for letting me know that it's a bit much. We were only planning on going there for the Hollister outlet really. We're visiting the Premium outlet North on another day, and we're in San Diego for a week after and visiting the Las Americas Premium Outlet there, but the only one that had Hollister was the Primm outlet, and they also have a juicy couture store which I want to visit (I know the North one does too, but I definitely want to shop there and hope to get things from both!)

While I'm talking about all this actually, I think I'm going to post my itinerary. This is probably really ambitious but if yous can share your thoughts of how I could swap it about at all please let me know! Obviously the things which say booked can't be changed because they have set times.

Sun 20th - Arrive 2pm, security, luggage, check in, see lion and dolphin enclosure, buffet dinner at The Mirage, Lion King at Mandalay Bay at 8(BOOKED), see Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay while there.
Mon 21st - Grand Canyon tour @ 6am (BOOKED), arrive back approx 12pm, visit Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas mall, stripburger for dinner *voucher*
Tues 22nd - Breakfast at Hash House a Go Go *voucher*, general tour of the strip, The Venetian for outdoor ice skating and light show, game works for dinner *voucher*
Wed 23rd - Visit Las Vegas Premium Outlet North , travel to airport at 5pm, flight to San Diego at 7.20pm
