MarchHad our last 2 days here in the Silverton, excuse me if I've already mentioned it, nice relaxing venue found the buffet a bit disappointing even though it was a free lobster dinner, the cafe was very good, had my eggs Benedict at last and had the combo surf and turf (not at the same time!), 8oz NYsteak butterfly prawns, soup and dessert for $14.99.
It has a Johnny Rockets of which I'm learning to be a big fan. I mentioned the wifi from Starbucks covers a wide area but my mistake, the hotel has wireless as well for free.
Had a decent online rate of $48 a night which was covered by the frequent players card promo. They basically have a random draw and if your card is in a slot you get awarded player points, I got 20k in one draw, my mate won 2, he got nearly 30k. Points are worth $3/1000. He had over a $100 on his card, I had $77, not a bad result.
Don't know when it ends.
Getting ready to board, my next post when I'm back home.0 -
MayWas yours a jacuzzi, ours was just a soaking tub all be it very deep witha couple of steps/seats to sit on
Yes it was definitely a jacuzzi as I remember lying there with bubbles taking over the place! I think it's the one bedroomed suites that have the Japanese soaking tub. We had a Terrace Studio. I thought the only difference was that there was a wall between the bedroom and lounge in the one bedroom, but it sounds like there are other differences.
The bath I found most difficult to get out of was the one at the Signature. The tiled edge round the bath was so wide it was difficult to climb in and out of.
Those that are having trouble with the r.com site should try a different browser, but it may be too late now for the 90% off.0 -
