:T well sone Tara - that is fab amount to have saved.
Lyndseydee - I am glad that things are moving forward positively.
Some nice lists ladies - pamper away....
I am also loving the new words....:D
Finally the first UU's and a donation for 2011.....
2 UU's The Sanctuary Body Oil 250ml which I was gifted as part of a set a few years back. WIBA - surprisingly yes I would and it is the only Sanctuary product that I have liked out of all the ones previously tried. Very :money: as it's lasted over 6 months with near daily applications. But I now have to get stuck into the mountain of body lotions I have sitting there.
Also UU the stingist freebie I have every received - Christina Aguilera Royal Desire which when opened only had a damp 2cmx 1cm wipe. WNB!!
Also I donated Avalon Organic Deodorant roll on to my mum as I felt it just wasn't strong enough for me. I have now opened the Sure roll on instead. No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -

Will desperately need to turn my attention to my toenails tomorrow night as they are in a really bad way. Something about winter always makes my neglect my toe nails.

Well done!!!! I must do the same:T well sone Tara - that is fab amount to have saved.
ThanksI am on a serious shopping diet atm, seeing the dream house has made me realise that I need to save a little bit harder right now and not be tempted by silly fripperies!!!!
I can't sleep... was actually in bed and haven't nodded off yet so I did what the books advise and got up again. Think the house is invading my every waking thought today! Argh... need to be up in 6 hours.
So are we agreed that the Boots 75% sale is not happening today (Tuesday)? :rotfl:Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Probably VERY the way things are at the moment Tara !!
Really?? I would love it if we could get it within our budget, but it's about 20% more than we can comfortably afford.
We could theoretically go to the full asking price - and I know lots of people who think that one should stretch to the limits of affordability - but (a) I don't think it's worth that much and (b) I wouldn't feel comfortable owing that amount of money. I would need to know that we could survive on just one salary if we ever had to.
Still, with the way things are, you never know. We have a good deposit and are FTBs so have no house to sell and no chain. We're going to view it anyway!Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

p.s. welcome to the newbies!!!!!!
p.p.s. I have decided that I am going to start running again this year (see sig). I didn't go last week as I was just sooo tired and busy after Christmas and New Year, I thought I'd give myself a week or two to get back into my routine. Now I'm ready. I'm going to start on Wednesday, so you are to kick me up the bum if I don't! OK?BTW, I would love a running buddy

Yes I am fine, have spoken to hubby and we have agreed to go to councilling (sp). Hopefully we can sort this out.
I hope you get things sorted out Rosemary, I can honestly say I know what you're going through . You are definitely amongst friends as I found out.
on a brighter note I won a £50 prize last night at the pool in the 12 days of Christmas draw for charity. a beauty treat would have been good but got a 5 day pass for the pool so can give to sons when they are home:)
used Lush RUB rub rub in shower,it said you can use on your hair if you are in a hurry!....DON'T moine feels like straw today:rotfl:0 -
lynseydee that's good news that you are going to work out the issues, obviously we don't know the story but only do it if that is what you want, I hope everything works out for you
Same to you rosemary
Tara, sorry for being nosy but I am always so jealous of your deposit total! Have you any hints or tips to get my savings started? I would have been fine but bought a car in October so I have my payments for that which were effectively my planned savings IYSWIM. I have started a pub job in the evenings too which bring in some cash i'm trying to save but it just seems to take forever to even see any effect, or the bank balance increasing!
Back to topic...
My Urban Decay goodies turned up yesterday, with the perfumes I had never tried...now I know why!
One of them is OK so I will be using this on a day to day basis, probably keep it in my car to double up as an air freshener :rotfl: - 100mls seems an awful lot to get through!
The other one is shocking really, I know I was smelling them after being in my Lush infused bathroom, but it really reminded me of the biscuity smell of fake tan
On the plus side the bottles are gorgeous with the old fashioned 'puff' spray, one bottle is black and one is white
I haven't looked at the mascara, that was put into the stash immediately, the foundations turned up and 2x medium and 1x light arrived. I didn't realise I had ordered 2x medium but one will be sent to my sister, as it's very dark, even the light is dark! The light would even look ok if worn with fake tan, so I will keep one of the foundations (medium) for when I go on holiday. They come with a built in blusher (it's a dark reddy berry brown so a cross between a blusher and bronzer so will save on what I need to take abroad!)
On the plus side...I UU a lush bath fizzer last night, the white snowman with the multicoloured back WIBA yes it was nice and left the water very soft! nice fragrance too
I also came in to find my father rooting through the cupboard because the Lush bomb had smelt 'clean' (I originally thought he was going to say over fragranced etc as men usually do!) and wanted to use one himself :rotfl: . So not only is he a shampoo snob now after deciding he will only use Tigi, a body butter boy from having one of my BS ones last year, he now loves my lush collection!! I'm finding it hilarious. Think my stash will going down very quickly now! :T
I also came home last night to a Phillips GoLite blue light system that I sgned up for on BzzAgent. Its selling at £257 on boots.com  but we had to contribute £40 towards it. Its one of those lights that are supposed to boost your mood in the winter, send S.A.D. feelings to the bin, and improve jet lag. I will give it a whirl this week and if not it can go on ebay to boost my savings! If anyone wants a £100 off voucher for it, let me know - I have a few to pass on!
Have a good day ladies x0 -
Finished a cleanser that didn't really suit me - been using it off and on for over a year, so pleased with that, don't think they make it any more. Finished 2 lipglosses as well, again, I think they're obsolete! :rotfl:0
