Promise I've been good and stuck with it too - hurra ! Made me laugh tho hearing the discussions on other toiletries obsessed ladies other passions - I, too have a lot of craft stuff, but, as a working single parent, never get the chuffing time to indulge in. Maybe that is my next challenge as the kids are getting a bit older...pink rose candle principle !

I have... yes... I have bought things... lol

I went to Boots and I used my £5 off No7 products in a exfoliating face sponge for £3.70, so completely free. They did have the muslin cloths in my Boots for £5.79 or so but ended buying the sponge. I also bought the L'oreal hair dye, it is 2 x £10 (same price at Sainsb though) so it is a saving since it is usually at £6.70 each. I had a £10 voucher from ages ago, so I used it. Free shopping! Lol Then as I walked out I looked at the Waitrose stuff and saw a lady with the reducing items machine, I stood behind her whilst she put stickers to all the olive oil 500ml reduced from £1.90 to... wait to read it... 47p!!! I took four. Then the organic spices from £1.70 to... 34p!! I bought 7 varieties. Lol Good shopping trip though. :D I still have another No7 voucher, I am wondering if I should exchange it for the gloves at £6ish or the muslin cloths or nothing... maybe another sponge!! That is completely free! :D

Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales
  • February is going to be my no buying month too!! Absolutely no buying, no way!!

Although the minute I decided this I found out Debs were doing Clinique bonus time in February. Which no-one on here will buy obviously!:p

It is also a coincidence that my no buying month is the shortest month btw.:D

maybe i need to go to the big town to see if i can find the No7 cloths as they are something i really want and my tidly one doesn't stock anything like that.
Marta you got some fab bargains there! i never see anything useful in the reduced toiletries. OH did once get me 3 bottles of hair conditioner for 40p each was good but i've never seen things like that.

You'll all understand this. I've just updated my toiletry stock list and one section is down to ONE line. OK there's 2 things on the one line but that just means one in use and one spare! i can't remember the last time i ever got so close to getting all my stock of something used up. And it's one of my HG products so sometime this year i'm going to have to look for a glitch or a sanctuary 3 for 2 offer.

Congrats Lemon Tree, well done for using up your stash :T I am a long way off that for any of my toiletries! I can only hope that one day I will succeed! :D

Nearly the end of Jan already! All in all I haven't been good this month as I've still spent on toiletries though not on things that have already been stashed!

3 UUs for me this week: more L'Occitane travel sizes, this time a body lotion and conditioner. WIBA? Same as before only if part of a kit as I have other products that I prefer. Also finished a full sized tub of S&G Spa body scrub. WIBA? Yes, this is a HG product of mine although I won't be buying for a while as I have the Flake Away and Breakfast Scrub from my tote to use up.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • Visited 3 supermarkets today ..and bought only food :D so poud of myself. Normally I like a rummage around to see if there are any good offer on skincare, bath products etc etc but refused to even look. Also UU some Garnier Cleanser which I probably WBA - think I got it cheap in W*lkos a few months back. So on track for now :p just know I'm going to see an advert for something new and wonderful that I really need and can not live without :rotfl::rotfl:

I've definitely been very bad this month but I've vowed that I can get through all 28 days of February without buying unnecessarily. The only things I might need are hair dye, deodorant and tinted moisturiser. My Gok box arrived today, finally, and its fab!! I put a tiny bit of the "gold" body butter on my arm at about 4.30 and I can still smell it. Its yummy :D
