  • Just bought 2 BS Hemp hand creams for £9.80. They were a bargain with the 30% off and I will def use them but still feel a bit naughty! :o

If I hadn't joined this thread I would never have known! But then I might have bought them later at full price which is just not :money:.

I'm over the guilt now, it didn't last long after all!!

ooooh don't start me on stationary and papers - I have a whole room dedicated to paper  and yesterday I found a really nice notebook, still in it wrappings, just chucked in an abandoned handbag :o OH calls our mantlepiece my 'reference library' as I have a stack of notepads and diaries on there - all in use. There's my xmas and birthday book, my bills book, my organising diary, my personal diary, my notes book, my lists book and my 'it doesn't go in any other book' book :rotfl::rotfl:

My stationery addiction is worse than my toiletries addiction - and I've just got a new job in London, right round the corner from that massive Paperchase on Tottenham Court Road!

Oh well, at least it means I can sort out my toiletries and decide which ones I'm leaving at home!

  • I've got a few pages to catch up on but just popping in to report on a UU and an "in". UU: Neal's Yard Remedies Nourishing Orange Flower Daily Moisture 25ml which came free with a magazine. WIBA? Yes but I've got a makeup bag full of other moisturisers to use up first which will probably last me a few years! I've been using this over the Autumn and Winter and it's kept my skin free of dry skin patches. It also smells lovely but more like bergamot than orange. I'm going to move on to an Olay Complete Care moisturiser next. I'd already used about a third of this tube and can't remember why I put it to one side. If I discover that it doesn't suit my face I'll use it as body/foot lotion.

In: Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation 30 ml. I sent off for this freebie from the Grabbit board. Very naughty as I've got plenty of foundation :o.

    Congrats :T:T

I'm actually gonna get strict with myself this year - I intend to use  my paper and craft stash! Following the Pink Candle philosophy I'm gonna go through the entire room and sort out into 'stuff I like and will use' 'stuff I don't particularly like but will use' and 'stuff I'll never use'. The bits that are 'child-friendly' I will donate to my craft loving nieces and the rest I'm gonna eBay/Freecycle. Just need OH to move the great big roll of carpet so I can get in the room :rotfl:

Off for my bath now - will finally UU my BS Cherry Soap. WIBA? Hmm? Smells nice but I'm not really a soap person so no :( and it lasted for a while then started to disintegrate into blobs. OH asked me yesterday if I'd hurt myself as there was 'bits of skin' in the bottom of the bath _pale_ but it was the soap which had slipped back into the bath and was shedding like snakeskin everywhere. Eurgh!

What a busy day on here forum buddies - took me aaaages to catch up with those super long reports! The stationery posts made me laugh - I have kicked that one but still have a few craft bits.

Funny how these common themes come out!

Had a call from sis today asking me to pick her up a 'few bits' from the BS BOGOF sale at lunchtime for some birthdays she has coming up - woo hoo! Guilt free toiletry shopping for someone else!!

If you have see the film Ghost, you will understand when I say that handing over that BS bag is going to be a bit like Whoopi Goldburg giving over the cheque to the Nuns!! :rotfl:

Did someone on here ask about the red BS holdall? It's a good size, I got one for my sis, she wanted something big enough to get all her stuff in for a weekend away, including hair straighteners. It's pretty big, about the size of a square toaster is the only way I can think to describe it!! LOADS of stuffing with tissue paper so it's by no means full of stuff but she loves strawberry too and if you work it out price per item, including the bag, it comes out ok. ;)
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!
  • A UU Superdrug dry skin cream used up as a handcream at work seemed to last forever! It was ok but v greasy. Onto a P & P hand cream next.

I have resisted the Avon brochure and the BS sale!

One UU for me today OS mint and tea tree conditioner. It's been going on F O R E V E R. WIBA? Yes, I really like it although I did get quite bored with it tonight and could probably have stretched it out to one more day, but i put some water in, swished in round and poured it over my head. I've quite a bit of conditioner to go at so it will be some time before I need to buy any :)
