I am also trying to decide if I should give my foam burst cans away (5). I recieved most of them Christmas 09 and although I love them I detest the floral smells and they last forever. I am frugal with all my toiletries and these are supposed to last 40 washes, well mine feel like they last much longer. I feel that if I keep them they will only go to waste, is this cheating though :p

Nope! :D I have a fair few bottles of bubble bath and I'm giving them to my best friend who always baths her two little ones as I just do not use it. There's a reason it's still hanging around, so why not give it to someone who can use it so that it doesn't have to hand round here for another year or so until I get to use it up?

Sometimes it's helpful to be kind. :D

Mmm this thread is quietening down a bit - I hope nobody is looking at boots.com! Do you NEED that stuff? Could you spend that money in a more worthy way.... clearing debts? saving for a house? buying new clothes you need?

Am signing off for tonight, as I don't want to be tempted! :)

tried the writing down idea ages ago,he just laughed and binned it:eek:last night was strange,we went to dance class and I was looking forward to a bit of tv on my own after but he hung about, asked if he had put the blankets on and he said I've done mine(I do both) was he hinting?anyway when we finallay went to bed he had put both sides of our bed on but not the spare room one .....and as it was a cold night:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I know I am weak but I am the type to flare up then calm down and think what is the point.I don't think things will ever change and it is hard to live annoyed with each other when we are on our own.

On a positive note, I have always thought when reading your posts how lovely that you both go to dance classes and swimming together... :)
  • just found this thread and love it, given away a few sealed Avon bubble bath thingies lately as I'm a 100% Lush girl now ;)
I'm going to try to stick to this although might be hard with the new things coming for valentines day..might just ask for one of everything as gift ;) ....although there is one soap I have that I'm keeping as an air freshener - so that one doesn't count :P

Does it count if I buy a lush (spit!) soak and float to use on my horse?? shes gone really scurfy where shes got rugs on more now its winter, and its the best thing Ive found for getting rid of the scurf.....
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup
  • I popped into a local Boots after work to see what was left in the 50% off sale in order to research whether it's worth popping in when the 75% off sale starts, whenever that may be. The answer is no, there wasn't a great deal in there and nothing that really caught my eye. There are two tiny branches near to where I live; one of them has some Sanctuary stuff in and so I'll keep tabs on that but will definitely not buy unless 75% off. I've still to check out the other small store. I will only succumb if there's stuff that I know I will use.

I think it's fine ... my son has odd skin and I make exceptions from my stash to cater for what is best for him, even though I still have 100s of perfumed things :)

ps - I use soak and float too hehe

  • Just repainted my toenails for the first time in about 4 months! It only took 5 minutes so I don't know why I always put it off. I used Rimmel Russet Flame and they look lovely. I have so many bright red nail varnishes, it baffles me - I hardly ever paint my nails and I've never used up a nail varnish yet! Very odd. :rotfl:

Just as a tip - I recently tried out some Waitrose 99p shampoo with provitamin B5 and it's brilliant! I'm so impressed. I'm currently using Wella system professional shampoo and conditioner which is lovely but uber-expensive, but I think the waitrose stuff is almost as good. Certainly far better than any of the normal L'oreal, etc brands that I've used before. :money:
