Might be worth a try Steve, but see what your doctor says - the might send you for another eye test with extra specific tests to be done to identity the problem. About 5 year ago, I woke up in the night with a feeling like a dagger sticking in my right eye and I couldn't open it due to the pain. I didn't know what it was and bathed it for ages - eventually I could open my eye, but it was VERY sore. I went to our local small injuries clinic and the doctor there thought I might have an eye infection and gave me antibiotic eye drops   I didn't use them, as I HATE eye drops
On the Monday, I went to my own doctor who referred me for another eye test telling me to let the optician know what was happening. I had just had a nomal eye test a month before, but they did a special test, to examine the eye more closely, and found what they expected - my eye was getting so dry overnight that the eyelid was sticking to the eyeball and tearing tissue away when I tried to open my eye. This is actually caused by my arthritis and I get it whenever my arthritis is worse, but I now have a gel which Alan has to put into my eyes at night to stop them getting so dry and sticking
Now this wasn't picked up in routine eye test, so perhaps there is something else that they might test for you SteveMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Weve had ours done and gosh it dosnt half make a difference. Plus with them doing the power flush if anymore problems occur they will do it again free of charge.
hope this has helped.
Thanks for that,Im not convinced that it is worth spending the £££'s as boiler is 22 years old.Difficult one.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters.
