Thanks for that,Im not convinced that it is worth spending the £££'s as boiler is 22 years old.Difficult one.

Thing is Beanie, if your boiler broke down and you got a new one, the flush would still be needed as the flush is through the whole system of pipework, not your boiler. We had a similar problem once :(

Hmmm very true, But its good that your boiler has lasted this long.
Can you not ask BG for more Advice?

Yher power flush is a big electric hoover that sits outside your property and you should see the sludge that comes out of the systerm.
I know its alot of money to pay out but am sure you spread the cost over a term.

Even a new Boiler are expensive.

The problem in your radiators would be caused by the build up of limescale Beanie, as the inside of the pipe gets narrower and narrower until the water can no longer get through. As Steve said, it is currently costing you much more o heat your house, as the boiler and pump are working overtime just to get the water round the system

One thing to try, might be a Scale-away product - this is just a magnetic clip you put around your main inlet cold water pipe and plug into an electricity socket, which attracts and breaks down the lime in your water, so that the limescale does not accumulate and block the pipes. I understand that, even if your pipework is in very bad condition with limescale, it can break this down and free-up the pipes. So it's definitely worth looking into - they cost from £30 to under £100 from memory, so I would check them out. If you don't know what I mean,o r can't find thm, let me now and I will find a link somewhere :D:D

Many thanks Susan and will Ask the dr about a extra specific eye test and go from there,

Will phone up in the morning to get a appointment.

Vision Express do a great eye test, you have to pay the extra £10 for it, but they actually examine your eyeballs in detail. I only found out through MS. And they paid for it all.

oh poor beanie. It is all so expensive. Why can't we go back to caveman days and have fires and sleep in mammoth costumes. Have you ever met a cold caveman? No neither have I, my point exactly.
