Well, today was supposed to be an NSD and I didn't go to Boots as I thought I might as well just pick up my stuff on Tuesday when my grocery shop is delivered, but cats ran out of food yesterday  DH feeds them and didn't tell me, it was only as I was seeing him throw the box away that I asked if there was anymore and he said no :mad::mad: so had to go and get some from local shop as well as cling film and flour
Anyway, tomorrow is another day, and I did only get what I needed (could have done without the flour and cling film until Tuesday if I had too!) so kept the spend small so staying positive
I'll join you in a Friday wiggle, spoonIt will cheer me up x

Hya folks, not been on for a few days...manic week!
(((((Hugs))))) to everyone who needs them and birthday wishes to those celebrating (or not!). My baby sis is 44 today...that make me feel quite old - much worse than on my 50th last year, at least them I got pressies to ease the pain!!
....how many spend days in a row constitute receipt of a kipper?? Have now had 3 spendy days...and today may well be one too....
Car playing up, I have no indicators working, so it needs checking...hopefully it isn't serious....but that will mean paying today for any work done. However, if it is going to take more time to sort, then that will delay payment...but will mean next week will be a nightmare driving-wise...almost as bad as this week!!!
I am invigilating all over the place and at odd times every day next week...so I can see we will all be piling into DH's mini to take DS2 to college, DH to work, then at least I will have the car for the rest of each day.
So still stuck on 2 NSDs, but hope for a weekend with purse/cards out of action!!
Have a great weekend everyone.

I've dipped into this challenge a couple of times in the past but now I'm all in for a mission of money saving expert challenges to keep me on track as we're trying to move house and need all the money we can get so count me in a bit late.
I'll start with 15 NSDs please, I'm not including a day when a direct debit goes out but I am on days when I don't spend cash and when OH or I don't spend on our debit cards - can't control how he spends his cash as he still buys lunch every day but often debit card purchases are joint things/food etc.
So far this year I've managed 2 so 2/15
I'll try and keep up!
Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000
Initial Mortgage free date - January 2058
Mortgage as of 1st February 2024 - £159,134.98
Overpayments to date - £79.62
Current Mortgage free date - January 20580 -
Can you count me in please!:j
I am aiming for 20 and I am not including anything I budget for or my direct debits so this is really just for my disposable income which isn't very much anymore!
Thankyou and good luck everyone! x
