Hi all.
I'm new to the NSD Challenge..but it's going ok so far!
Just wanted to ask all those of you, with a few months'-worth of NSD experience.....
Have you noticed how much impact the NSD technique is having on your overall spending? Do you just squash all the spending into fewer days, but end up spending the same amount anyway??? Logic tells me that this must happen, but am hoping the reality is quite different!
If you have any thoughts, let me know, cos I need to keep motivated on this one!
THANK YOU!0 -

Morning everyone,
Today will be a spendy for me- the challenge is going to be only spending what I need to or have planned for. That means going to the market for veg and to look on the cheap food stall- he has real bargains, so will see what I can find there today.
Also to the butchers, for some casserole beef for tomorrow and roasting joint for sunday.
I usually would also be going into Mr S, but having done an online shop on monday, my cupboards are still looking nicely stocked!:D
In fact, we are so well stocked that I am wondering whether I should cancel my Asda online shop for next monday... :cool:Save £12k in 2021: Jan £1834.40, Feb £1692.810 -

In answer to your questions, I find that I do try and have fewer spend days and certainly try and buy everything I need on those days.
I also find that I am now watching everything I do spend on those days so in the long run I will save money.
Hope this helps:)
Have you meal planned or made a spending plan for the week ahead. I find this really useful

Good morning all!
Up early this morning as my skin is killing me ( psoriasis)
Hi jintyb
Have you tried S!mple Derma? I've got Psoriasis too and this is the best cream I've found. It doesn't get rid of it, but it does make it much flatter and a lot less itchy. I buy the big tubs (the hand cream isn't as good and is more expensive) and slap it on several times a day - it really does make a difference.
It's not cheap but it's a worthy buy!Official DFW nerd 187 :T Highest debt Oct 06 £23,319 _pale_ Cleared end 09. :T
