I am like that so much so I get annoyed at myself sometimes.

Phew! It's comforting to know I am not the only one...I was wondering whether I was ever so slightly insane

  • NSD #3 for me :D

Am getting better at avoiding the shops and looking for things I have in that I can turn into a meal. Not the easiest challenge given that my cooking skills aren't very advanced. :o Add to the fact that I'm vegan and it gets a bit complicated. Still, my standards are quite low, so it all works out in the end :D

Thought I'd be nice tonight and try and rustle something up for the non veggies at home as well as my own, and thought I'd done pretty well (amazing how much food we seem to have here, can only grimace at the thought of how much of it must have gone to waste in the past!!!) But then had a blazing row before the food was even on the plates, so a lot of it went into the fridge rather than actually being eaten. :( Hey ho, I enjoyed mine.

Anyhoo, enough rambling. Am focusing on having the NSD :D:D:D

Shouts to TH - sorry to hear about your job. I was made redundant at the end of 2009 and it still smarts so I know what you're going thro! Quite agree with you picking the pricey restaurant! Well done:T Hope you find a new job very soon!

(I'm currently waiting for the outcome of the gov 'big conversation' and hoping my org isn't going to be hit too badly - don't think I could handle going thro redundancy again so soon!! Fingers crossed!!!)

    Morning All

How is everyone, final caught up with the last few days posting and we all still doing really well and I can't believe there are still some people who haven't spent yet - how amazing is that.
Well I have 2 more NSD over the past couple of days which takes my total up to 4, unfortunatley today isn't going to be another one as I have to post a parcel I have sold on amazon so I have to spend to get so money back but there you go, anyway rambling now

    Red

Hello red.... re the postage, most of the peeps here don't count postage as a spend if the buyer is paying - not sure if that's the case with this parcel, but it might be worth thinking about in future.

    Hope that helps.
    spoon x

PS: well done for no 4

Thought today was going to be a spendy too, for an annoying reason. My DH bought me some lovely earrings as part of my Christmas present, and I have managed to lose one :(. I never usually lose things but I had the earrings in when I went out walking on monday, and I was wearing a woolly hat- think it must have got caught in the hat and pulled out:mad:. I was going to go an try to replace them today so I didn't have to own up! As it is, our new leather sofas are arriving today :j. No idea when, so I have to stay at home. Luckily we ordered the sofas before my husband's redundancy was announced, or we would never have considered it, even though we have been putting up with hideous pink sofas for all our 15 years of married life!! Now we just have to find the money to pay for them- but it is 4 years interest free.

So, assuming they don't arrive imminently I will have NSD number 3 today! :D
Sorry about the earrings, suzie, it's horrible when that happens - I've done the same:(. Hope you managed to replace them

The first one i can remember..... i am so proud!!

Well done to everyone else too - we are all doing soooo well

Well done mrs m... you should be proud:j:j:j nothing to apologise for:D
Am not going out today so NSD 4 for me, please  I think the next few days should be NSD days too - got to go to Boots to pick up and already bought item tomorrow, so that will be a test of willpower, but I don't need anything so will be walking in, picking item up and walking out again (and then straight home!) Getting a food delivery on Tuesday so am hoping that will be my next spendy day.
Hoping everyone else is doing well :D
