    No.20 NSD for me please.

This will probably be my last one for this month. I have a planned spend tomorrow. £4.40 for the gym.

    Hi

I would like to finish my month at 19 NSDs which I am quite proud of because I had only aimed for 14. I have decided to give myself targets like this each month rather than having a big target that is difficult to achieve over a longer time.

Well done to everyone.:j who has joined in this month. January can be a difficult month to keep up with things I feel (I usually start full of hope and determination but it doesn't last)

Good luck for next month moneysavers

....I have decided that I will allow myself £5 a week (taken out on a spendy day - so next weeks was put aside yesterday) for woopsies if I dont need anything on offer then great but if I decide I'd like some I will keep my NSD's intact so long as I dont go over the fiver. Hope this seems reasonable to everyone but if anyone feels its cheating please let me know :)....
That sounds like a definite plan Elf, & if it works for you--go for it! That is one thing about collecting nsds--every now & again you have to stop & really think if the bargain in front of you is worth the price, both in money terms & forsaking a no-spendy :o Personally, & with foodstuffs especially, if it's going to help my budget s-t-r-e-t-c-h that little bit further, then I'll get it ;)

Sorry the link didn't work folks, guess they've sold out & removed the info. Anyway, the oblong shaped come in several lengths & looks like two pieces of dado rail with a row of nails half hammered into them & a hole through the middle :p The circular ones are also in different sizes & look a bit like an embroidery ring with nails all round. You use a little hook to slide the loop off the peg over the top of the thread..wish I could find a video cuz I'm making a hash of explaining it :doh:Well, they were saying that the longer oblong ones are good for people with restricted arm movements because you can rest it across the arms of a chair. I thought it made a tube shape (like a sock) but the oblong one makes ordinary flat pieces like you get with traditional needles. Phew! Glad that's over :rotfl:

Still over muvva's & likely to be till at least her doctor's appt on Thursday BUT, it has meant I can add another four days to my total, including today.
Not the way I would have chosen to reach 23 but it couldn't be helped. That'll be it for this month as I've GOT to go shopping tomorrow before the natives revert back to cannibalism & start chewing on their own feet...cheese on toes anyone?

Keep the Faith Peeps & here's to plenty nsds in the Lurvvv Murrrrnth :smileyhea

declaring another NSD for today - so that's me up to #11 :D

Just need to hope there aren't any spectacular Whoopsies at work tomorrow (and that I don't still have a D/Debit to come out - though looking at the balance on the bill paying account I have a nasty feeling there may be :o), as that's the only way I'll make target this month.

Must try harder in Feb, as 12/28 is going to be a lot harder to get than 12/31

Has your OH got anything else lined up Peaches?

He can take the work with him Beanielou so thats a plus. A lot of people are put off with the big club name so in a way it can work in his favour. I told him to think long and hard about it and so far nothing has been said further!

  • Evening all,

Well I had a NSD today as I didnt go anywhere other than seeing the horse and removing the last few boxes out the old house into the new one. I'm exhuasted and will have a well deserved glass (large) of wine and a bath!

So my total is now 17! :T

Will definitely be having a NSD tomorrow as the decorators are coming at sometime during the day!

Hope everyone is meeting and beating their targets.

And the Nargle checks in at 14 out of 14!!!!!!

Roll on February - think I'll just aim for 10 as it is a short month. Can always try and beat it!

Well done everyone for all the NSDs achieved, and thanks to Spoon and SF - the NSD gang rocks!
